Do you need the lockout one? I hate having mine (I plan to replace mine soon)? Any headset should work as long as you get the right size and I believe they are zero stacks.
I have 35, 40, and 45lbs springs and settled with the 40lbs. I am about 160ish-170ish with gear and like to send it but by no means a pro rider. I like gnarly downhill with jumps and drops mixed in but nothing too huge.
I Also have the smashpot in my Lyrik Ultimate. It took me awhile to find the sweet spot with the damper on it (I am by no menas a fork guru) and also got a couple different spring rates but it is now dialed and can't be happier.
I am 6'3" and love my XL. I wanted it to be more flickable and don't really care about climbing efficiency (I mean it is a enduro ebike. Send the fucker, LOL). I am a ride up to send it down type. rule of thumb if you like to be in the "air" go with XL and mullet. If you wanna be on the ground...
Yes. the E-36 forks which are on the Decoy can not be extended cause they use 34 internals which don't go past 160. just get rid of the fork and either get a regular 36 or go with a 38 or a rock shox.
I have heard good things on That Marzocchi Z1 coil fork. Good price point as well. The reason I went with the vorsprung is that I already had the Lyrik fork.
You just buy the kit and get a spring for your weight. I got a couple different spring rates so I could get a feel for the right one. It is pretty easy to install yourself as well. The Yari is a decent fork and can be made into a great fork easily and relatively cheaply. i wouldn't use the fox...
been away from my computer to really respond. It's not that I am a pro rider and can feel the proverbial "pea in the mattress". Something is slightly off on my front end and I am just wanting to check all the boxes that is all.
I sawpped out my Yari for a Lyrik ulti and love it. The offset on it is 42mm and wanted to go back to 44mm but don't have my Yari anymore to swap out the lowers. Anyone have a spare Yari they'd be willing to let go?
Just a tip from someone that wraps cars for a living. Chrome wrap vinyl does not stretch very well so use more pieces which will require more seems. We call them "inlays"
Also you will want to get some adhesion promoter and put it on in areas of high stretch before you put the vinyl on and do...
