I bought my M10 from bikester. As I understand the frame is guaranteed by Orbea once you register your bike. The components are standard so easy to fix anywhere. I had no other choice to buy online djring the spring, since local bike shops had no Rises and were not getting any over here.
I would like to do this as well and probably will after the waranty expires. I might call the local bike shops and ask around if they were willing to do this.
What's the harm in having more power reserve? Obviously one can ride it with less power if they want.The Rise and SL are also in practice equal weight depending on size and model. Plus or minus hundred grams is irrelevant with emtbs.

Check out the Orbea Rise threads in this very forum. Owners are riding easily 2-4 hour rides. I personally have riden max 2 hour rides with mostly trail/50Nm setting and still had 1/3 battery left. Range extended is also available for the Rise similar to SL.

I seem to have a different taste here, since I don’t want any screens at all on the bike. I like the dongle since it’s so discrete and makes the Rise look like a normal bike. I just use Apple Watch for ride and hr tracking.
