You do know that Bikester will pay your invoice in the local bike repair shop if there is a clear warranty repair case?

It's not illegal for the LBS but riding one on public roads is illegal for the rider.

I bought my M10 from bikester. As I understand the frame is guaranteed by Orbea once you register your bike. The components are standard so easy to fix anywhere. I had no other choice to buy online djring the spring, since local bike shops had no Rises and were not getting any over here.

I would like to do this as well and probably will after the waranty expires. I might call the local bike shops and ask around if they were willing to do this.

I switched from Rekon to Forekaster and the grip improved a lot but the rolling resistance was about the same. Give them a try.

Shame one needs to have the phone with the watch. I use Apple Watch with cellular function so that I don't need to carry the phone with me.

I think I have lost some leg strength as well. Cardio exercise is better with the emtb because I can ride longer and control my hr levels much better.

What's the harm in having more power reserve? Obviously one can ride it with less power if they want.The Rise and SL are also in practice equal weight depending on size and model. Plus or minus hundred grams is irrelevant with emtbs. Here's a great comparison video of both.

Check out the Orbea Rise threads in this very forum. Owners are riding easily 2-4 hour rides. I personally have riden max 2 hour rides with mostly trail/50Nm setting and still had 1/3 battery left. Range extended is also available for the Rise similar to SL. I almost bought the SL but then the...

Check out how this was done in the Rise. Firmware reduction in the motor power and thus a smaller battery with still great range.

The next SL will surely have a more powerful motor, now that Orbea Rise has shown it can be done with SL level weight

Can’t really compare SLs and Rise because of the motor power differences are so large imo…

I seem to have a different taste here, since I don’t want any screens at all on the bike. I like the dongle since it’s so discrete and makes the Rise look like a normal bike. I just use Apple Watch for ride and hr tracking.

Selle Royal memory foam saddle in medium. Looks quite large and ugly but oh boy is it comfortable! I don’t even wear bibs anymore.
