XXL is a Nordic brand and they operate in other Nordic countries if I remember correctly. Maybe helps, or not.

Some bike shops do thw modifications and resell the unused parts and thus compensate them

Just check the torque. I have had zero problems with mine.

Update on the cranks from my side. I switched from 170 -> 165 cranks on my XL due to pedal strikes. It helped, BUT... it turned out my rear shock pressures were waaaay too low and after fixing that, the ride transformed and I tried the 170 cranks again. Much better now - more pedaling power and...

Sounds great! One more question - do you need to install and use the eTube software at all if you want to do the region change? Would STunlocker alone do the trick?

Could very well be. Or they have used the PC maintenance software on the bike and simply messed it up by accident.

Yep, you probably have the normal EP8 firmware installed instead of the Rise custom EP8 RS firmware. You might be able to install it yourself with the STunlocker app but that could be tricky…

Yep, Garmin watches and the app are just horrible compared to Apple Watch. I do like the Garmin Vivosmart 4 band though.
