Al Boneta - Of course, we've missed both your reverence and your irreverence!
And yes, I've heard that they're starting to enforce restrictions at our Orange County Parks. Some nice terrain, in addition to Laguna Coast Wilderness Park and Irvine Open Space Preserve, is now "officially"...
Here are our "other" non-mtb ebikes. We modified the commuter oriented Vado 6 by switching to 27.5 wheels and adding a better fork, 20/20 bars, and a KS dropper post. The Vado 6 has a little stronger motor and larger battery than the Levo. Sweet on the street, passable on gravel.

@Doomanic - Orange Cycles is in So Calif, not Mississippi!
I'm 160 lb (about 72kg in old money) and expect a Large will fit about right. Will let ya know.
(As for Al, it wouldn't be polite to reveal the number of Xs preceding the L.)
Big fun indeed!
Welcome, and let's see some photos from your beautiful country.
Action shots, including a big grin like Al has, are especially appreciated.
Welcome! (y) Let us know how the Bulls EEFS3RS27.5PF (Bulls EE for short?) works out.
Looking forward to some beautiful pics of the Idaho outdoors! (not garage doors )
Mrs levity and I wanted wider rims for riding desert sand here in So Calif wintertime. We had wheels built by Light Bicycle using 45mm inner width cabon rims (~450g each), DT Swiss 350 hubs, and 32 DT Revolution spokes 3-cross. They weighed in right around 1600g a set, similar to the 24/28 spoke...
The insta 360 makes my head spin o_O
@Al - sweet watching Hans Rey show us how it's done! (plus MTB Hall of Famer and snowboarder Richie Schley!)
Lizard (the first 4 min) is a fun intermediate trail, but it but has lots of poison oak (don't ask how I know).
The remaining footage is of a more...
I'd recommend against a hardtail E-bike for any off-road use but the smoothest trails.
I have a 29er hardtail non-E bike (Chisel) that I ride on and off-road and a 29er hardtail E-bike (Vado*) for road use. The Chisel is light weight and great fun on tarmac and on dirt, but the Vado is really...
Another Bell Super 2R MIPS owner here. It's often hot when/where we ride, so it's nice to be able to remove the chinbar.
As Interpaul said it's quick and easy to remove/replace the chinbar when not likely to be needed.
Fit is good for my slightly oval head shape, but I had to remove the thick...
The two most significant changes mrs levity and I made to our 2018 Comp Carbon Levos were to 1) switch to lighter and wider rims and larger tires for desert sand riding, and 2) install a better performing shock with a remote:
1) wheels/tires: Light Bicycle carbon 27.5 x 45mm inner width rim...
I'm ~70kg and use a setup closer to that of kcarbon (27.5x3.0 Nobby Nics or Purgatory tires) and run similar pressures (13F/14R). I've tried higher pressures, 16-18psi) but find these don't grip as well and seem a little "bouncy". It may depend a lot on your terrain. Here in the southwestern US...
