Looking at a Levo but wondered if I should be looking at anything else?

That depends on which battery firmware version your 2019 Levo has. Early versions with v. 2.019 seem capable of implementing all BLEvo functions including resetting wheel circumference and thereby top speed. (BLEvo works fine on my '19 Levo with v 2.019.) With newer firmware, v. 2.025 and 2.026...

    The Official BLEvo Thread

@ady and @Sherwood Forester - 2018 Levo motors (1.3) with firmware v. 5.0.0 can give power outputs over 700W. The 2018 model I owned previously had battery firmware v. 2.22.3 and motor firmware v. 5.0.0 (with 1.3 motor firmware patch 12/11/17). According to BLEvo the motor routinely gave max...

How was your ride, in one picture and one line?

glad Tony's OK, though that green thing stuck in your jeans looks painful try wearing mtb shorts - they offer better freedom of movement and bike control

    Levo bottle cage bulk

Don't believe @fat&grey!!! That little box contains a Specialized GPS device that sends your speed and location to headquarters. Opening it will void the warranty and may lead to your arrest!

Removed frame bump stop on '19 Levo Medium -> fork clears!

Hmmm, hope that next crash doesn't flex the fork crown/head tube/steerer tube/headset over 1mm.

    Jeremy McGrath shredding a Levo

Fun times! However, no pedaling was required in the footage shown. I guess it was to show that skilled riders can toss a 40+ lb bike around some. That said, Luca on the lighter weight regular bike looked best. I think half the fun on an ebike is going up and would have liked to see what they...

    2019 Turbo Levo Owners Thread

The SWAT CC steerer tube tool that comes with 2019 carbon Levos has a 5mm hex bolt that is accessed from below the fork crown. The 5mm bolt goes thru a base plate that interfaces with the bottom of the steerer tube tube and preloads the headset bearings by tightening them against the cap on top...

Anyone try Ergon's new E- Mtb saddle?

@Frank_Denmark - Thanks for the excellent photos! How easy is it to slide back off the seat for steep descents or drops? Does the rear ramp get in the way compared to the Henge? (BTW, your shop is too tidy and too well organized ;))

Internal Power Cable Failure, Levo 2019

Thanks for the detailed reply @Specialized Rider Care! Yes, remember "cleanliness is next to godliness", and all three magnetic connectors have to be watched: the battery connector, the Rosenberg plug, and the motor connector cover. You have to be careful not to let the plug drop on the ground...
