Had same problem on the rear wheel, not long ago... Thrue axle kept coming loose during my rides..
Tightened the opposing nuts, like you did... Since then it's been fine.

It's a beast! And It...
on my Kenevo - my first chain lasted 900km.... ive heard anything from 200-300 km in verry muddy mucky weather.. to 1500 km at best. so i think on average around 750-1000 is about normal?
then it depends what your changing " regime" is going to be:
changing chains often, to save on your...

Thanks for the great info+ links!??????????
So if I understand right, my cassette is 11/42 so it's not! An XD driver, therefore I can get a box one ? Possibly a 11/46.. and get a 34t chainring! And all will be well! Great!
Thanks again!???

I never use the dedicated Turbo button..
It's in such an awkward position, and it's only one, or in worse case scenario, 2 rapid presses away from turbo anyway.. why go looking for another button!? When your thumbs already on the toggle...
Besides, even though my Turbo is" tuned down" to 70%...
The kenevo is a dream! Bike..
It finnally fullfiled my dream of a downhill capable bike, that I could pedal uphill! And trail ride too!
But it's a beast, on components and on the pocket$$$?
Slowly having to change, upgrade about everything on it..
Like you mentioned, better tires ( + cushcore)...
I had a horrid scraping noise from the chain.. only to find out it was the chain guide! Scraping the chain - and resonating against the motor cover, like an amplifier! Sounded horrible!
Simple adjust to the chainguide fixed it..
Worth checking..
BTW - where did you order the chain? And chainring...
The one and only single component, I can truly say - has never! Let me down, and after more than 10 years of use still works perfectly! Just as new.. and is still unsurpassed imho..
Are my Hope brakes.
Ten years ago I bought two sets, the x2 for my trail bike, and the v4 ( twin piston) for my...
Never really found a total solution for this problem, but one thing did help:
The bolt you tighten under the seat - actually tightens two "cups" on inside the other.. and they come greased heavily from the factory.. so the adjustment slips easily.
I cleaned out the grease well and put it back...
Now that you mention it, it does seem to more or less correlate to 10-12 deg. Over ambient..
And it's pretty steady, not like the temp. Jumps suddenly or " runs away".. just was worried, as I've never seen it run this hot before.. but then I bought it in the winter.. so this is my first summer...
It's getting to be summer here, I never ride in the heat of the day, but even in the late afternoon on my commute home from work, it's 35 deg. C outside and my motor seems to be running hotter every day.. as the temps. Go up..
The other day it was up to 44 deg.
Today it was up to 47deg.!
I ride...
It verry much depends on what your riding style is, and the terrain you ride.. as mentioned here before...
There are very good rolling tires, and there are very " grippy" tires. But it's always one at the expense of the other...
You have to decide what's best for your style of riding, and for...
