What tyres? The Ultimate Tyre Thread

Ok, so this is an update, or second part to my first post about changing my rear tire to a " black diamond" and adding cushcore inserts... I have been very!! Happy with these changes... I run about 15psi in the black diamonds, and get amazing traction and pliability out of them! They just hug...

O.k.! Thanks again for saving me Paolo!!!??? Turned cm down to a fixed 9%. And bingo! Everything works fine again! Without updating firmware or anything! I don't really understand it... But just so it works! Now I know never to mess with the cm setting!??? Thanks! Tim

Almost done with pedals hitting things

Thanks so much, for your reply and info! I ride a kenevo (flat pedals) and like riding tight techy trails and fast downhill sections too.. so if this could help me there! It's worth a Try! Especially at that price.. the ones I priced were much more expensive! Hence my hesitance... And yes of...

Almost done with pedals hitting things

I have been thinking of buying some since I got my bike.. just wanted to give myself a chance to try and get used to it, maybe adjust to it... Hasn't happened yet..? anyway was all set to buy some when I saw a YouTube video on the subject, and somethings they said there worried me: A. That your...

    The Official BLEvo Thread

I don't know..? 10.22.3? Is that the firmware? What firmware should I be running..?? Sorry, I've just been riding and enjoying the bike and the app!? Untill now.. putting off trying to understand all this "tech" stuff.. I guess now I will have to.. Can you tell me how to update it!? And what is...

Intermittent Walk Assist on Levo / Kenevo

Same as all said above, on my 2018 kenevo expert: won't start working till I've pushed a meter or two... Then slowly starts working, then cuts out after about 30 seconds of pushing uphill! And won't restart, without switching the bike off and on . Annoying. But when it works it great! I just...

    The Official BLEvo Thread

Hi! Rode to work today, and to my surprise when changing up to trail from eco, the power went down almost to nothing! Turbo, was no better!... Switch back to eco.. and all is ok. So I checked all the regular things: Turned batt. On and off Turned app. On and off Checked batt. Connector and...

Almost done with pedals hitting things

I totally feel for you! I don't recall ever having any issues with pedal strikes on my analog trail bike..with 175mm cranks! But on my kenevo.. constantly getting them. And it's made me verry! Apprehensive of it...annoying to have to think constantly about where your pedals are..it's probably...

    Take your bike to work

What tyres? The Ultimate Tyre Thread

I just love my hopes! Classic " tech" levers with v4 calipers and floating discs! The best combo for me.. I don't live in the Alps so don't need the vented discs.. But with the hopes... You can just feel the quality! Not to speak of the accuracy and modulation ! Can't say I've tried the saints. Tim

Kenevo Gen1 Official 2018/2019 Kenevo thread

I run the standard 30 percent sag, and climb in the middle setting ( that is usually where I get my pedal strikes, tight turny climbs) and fully open on downhill's. The stock cranks mine came with are not even 170mm like I thought, but 165 mm. Still I have to be verry carefull on my pedaling up...

What tyres? The Ultimate Tyre Thread

I totally agree with ChrisP! Riding an Ebike makes me ride harder and faster, throughout more of my ride, on a much heavier bike; ergo - I need more grip! Care less about weight and drag, and since most my rides are well within my batteries range( around 15-30km.) I don't worry about maxing out...

Kenevo Gen1 Official 2018/2019 Kenevo thread

I suffer badly from pedal strikes with the Kenevo. I love the bike! But the pedal strikes drive me crazzy! Despite adjusting my technique.. been thrown off a couple of times.. I see no solution but to change to shorter cranks.. like the Miranda 152 or 160mm Tim

    Annoying creak solved on Kenevo

Good to hear it! Mine does this occasionally too, but can't reproduce it.. to try and find the noise. Now I know where to look! Thanks. Tim

    Take your bike to work

Nice bike! And nice pool! I ride my specialized Kenevo to work about twice a week, about 15 km each way with 350m climb, and about half of it on amazing singletrack! The good life! Tim

installing hope Tech 3 brakes on 2018 Kenevo

Not on the kenevo, anyway.. You can pedal while pressing the brakes, all you want! ?? Tim

installing hope Tech 3 brakes on 2018 Kenevo

O.k. got the hope tech to sram piggyback adapters I posted before, not cheap! At about 18$ a piece.. Installed the front brake, haven't had time to figure out the cable routing to do the rear one yet.. The adapters are easy to use, just replace the existing " clamshell" of your tech lever mount...
