Shorter Crank Arms on Levo / Kenevo?

Yes, these are the ones I got..I see they are listed as out of stock, but ask them, how long it will take to get them.. they answered my mails.andvwere verry helpfull. You could get the Delta model. Personally I think the Kapa is stronger and better. It's also what they recommend, and there is...

Pants vs shorts on the trails

Sorry, don't know anything about the Shimano system... On the Levo/kenevo with Brose motor the maximum size that will fit without removing the original chainguide is 34 tooth. Will update when I install it. Tim

Pants vs shorts on the trails

Yes, those were my thoughts exactly, I was already feeling limited by my top speed, all the more so now, so got me a used raceface narow/wide 34 tooth 104bcd chainring for my Brose motor (to replace the standard 32 tooth) from a nice fellow here on the forum! Going to try it. Should fix it! Tim

Shorter Crank Arms on Levo / Kenevo?

As promised, here are my thoughts on the Miranda Kapa O 150mm cranks. After several long hard rides I can safely say, at least! 90% of my pedal strike problems are gone! I can now pedal while climbing over most obstacles I had to "race up to and coast over". And feel much safer. I almost...

Pants vs shorts on the trails

The short answer... No. 150 is not too short. It greatly! Reduces pedal strikes compared to my old 165's.. it increases your cadence slightly, which is good for efficiency and your knees. I love hard fast downhill tracks.. and ride them every day.. and have noticed No decrease in stability. The...

Pants vs shorts on the trails

I hope you are well...and back to riding soon.. And like "33red" said... If you get a lot of pedal strikes... Might consider shorter cranks. I suffered badly from them on my kenevo. Changed my 165's to Miranda 150's last week... And now I'm happy as a clam! And feel much more freedom pedaling...

Pants vs shorts on the trails

Wow!!? Hope your ok... Sounds like a nasty fall... Pedal strikes are a bitch! As for the mx pants.. mine have an inner liner that keeps them from abrading your skin too much. In any case I wear my knee guards under them.. so no knee rub. But whatever you wear on your knees, bee it long "...

Pants vs shorts on the trails

I used to wear shorts for all around riding, and long " Moto pants" for downhilling.. But with the speed and intensity, of Emtb.. as far as I'm concerned, long protection is the only! Sane way to go! I wear long motocross pants all summer long, despite the intense heat here.. but at the speeds...

Shorter Crank Arms on Levo / Kenevo?

The installation: Was straightforward, other than the pedal thread issue, that is verry touchy! I recommend sticking an Allen tool thrue the crank hole into the pedal to keep it straight as you start the threads, and watch closely it doesn't start crooked! I was replacing the original "Praxis"...

Shorter Crank Arms on Levo / Kenevo?

Rob, I also took "kiwi in wales" advice..in another thread, and have been looking for the right 150mm cranks.. but couldn't get definite info on what cranks my Kenevo needed. So I pulled them off the bike and measured them! Then compared them to the Q-factor chart on the Miranda site, and found...

    Rear Hub Loosening

O.k., to be clear here: I've had both problems on my kenevo - first time, the thrue axle kept coming loose until I realized the two opposing nuts( on the disc side) were loose. Tightened them. And the thrue axle was fine for a couple of weeks. Second time(now) the thrue axle started coming loose...

    Rear Hub Loosening

Update....! Well.. I had to open my big mouth!? In the middle of yesterdays ride... It came loose again!!!??? After checking it at home, and wondering why I can't get the gears to shift consistently, even after a new chain, and multiple adjustments.... I realized the whole cassette! Slides back...
