When I was researching what bike to buy last year many of the bikes I was interested in had the EP8 motor in, after reading about the issues with reliability and dealing with warranty claims they were all crossed off my list.
If things improve then maybe I’ll reconsider in a couple of years...
I have the same rack and bike (e160s but obviously the same frame), it took a bit of working out but the small clamp fits very securely just above the motor.
I couldn’t find anywhere else it would fit, my wife’s bike is in the way but you can clearly see my bike behind and how it is held.
Had a great couple of days riding, it felt like summer, I saw how good the weather was going to be so took a long weekend off work!

I’ve got the Whyte and it’s a great bike, I love it. However if you have to remove the battery to charge it then I’d think twice because it really is a PITA.
Luckily I don’t need to remove it because I can charge it where it is stored, I just thought I’d have a go one time and I never will...
I’m ok with a 10% deposit which I paid last year for my bike and this year for my wife’s bike.
I wouldn’t feel happy putting down any more than that especially if I had to wait months with no guaranteed delivery date.
North Wales has got so many good crags to climb. I think you need to live there to scratch the surface on the climbing tho because being lucky with the weather when you book a holiday in advance is a bit of a gamble. The riding looks fantastic as well so yeah I think the ebikes will be going...

Nope, no interest in that whatsoever. Exercising has to be fun for me, I find exercising for the sake of it mind numbing.
I’d rather peddle a normal bike outside and pay to charge the emtb battery.
BPW is great in the ebike. I find it more tiring riding down than peddling back up, except the steep C5 climb. I did that once and never again, it’s easier to go the long way round and doesn’t take long anyway.

I got my bike from Monster last year, good communications and a pleasure to deal with. My wife ordered her new bike through them (hopefully coming in June) even tho they’re 3 hours from us.
I think it’s best not to keep track of these things, it only upsets you.
