We’ve only been in this house for a few months.
The essentials when buying were a garage for the motorbikes, parking for the car and van and a room in the house for the mountain bikes. Everything else was secondary, I think we’ve got our priorities right?! 😆
Our EMTB’s live in the conservatory along with my hardtail. I often like to randomly look in and admire them!
The motorbikes are in the garage but I have a camera set up to check on them if I can’t be bothered to go out and give them a pat! 🤣
I have a 2022 Whyte E160, I know it wasn't designed for a coil shock but I have read of people who have fitted them.
I was thinking seeing as I mainly do Red trails and red downhill bike park runs then I'm not going to be bottoming it out too often but if I did it has the HBC protection.
I'm seriously considering buying the EXT E-Storia, the noise is a bit disconcerting but I'm willing to overlook it if the shock is as good as I hope it to be.
So for those of you who have one of these shocks, can you please tell me if you are you happy with it and how much of a...
I service my shock and fork every 50 hours. I quite like doing it, it’s not difficult, gives me a chance to check over everything and it keeps the bike feeling like new.
However if I did not have my own tools and inclination to do the job myself, then I’d only give it to the bike shop to...
I’ve had several problems with Evri this year and it drives me nuts.
The parcel is usually marked as “we’ve got it” and then nothing happens. I complain to the sender as soon as possible (usually a week after dispatch) and then it is mysteriously delivered the next day.
I assume they must...
I’m into motorbikes and they do bring out new technology as often as they can. They’re definitely not what they were like 15-20 years ago.
They have ABS, traction control, cornering ABS, wheelie control, power modes, electric suspension etc etc, even launch control!
I’m all for the advances in...
That's the one, it comes in different sizes for different width tyres. I got the superstand 12 to 29" which is supposed to be suitable for up to 2.5" tyres My 2.4" front tyre goes in and out without the stand moving at all.
My wife's Levo has a 2.6" front tyre so that is a bit tighter. The...
The bike stand would be mostly used for storage. I've tried "roll-in" bike stands, but they don't hold the bike very securely at all.
I've just bought a couple of Willworx Superstands. They are the roll in kind but they are very stable, not really suitable for maintenance but great for...
It’s a Suntour fork from a Haibike 1.0 fullseven. Hopefully her Rail 7 will arrive next month but until then I thought I’d give it a little treat because she’s put it through more abuse than it was probably designed for.
How did that typo get through quality control?! 🤣
The bum quality theory...
