Question pls. Does anyone know what the purple connection is for on the m600? I have a cable running with also purple end but is female and motor is also female so they aren’t compatible?

And last question, on the rear wheel , is there some kind of metal spacer that goes on the other end of the axle where the wheel meets the frame? One side has a metal hanger and the other side is just bare carbon. ? Thanks

Here is wiring diagram.
As for the rear wheel you are correct, one side is a hanger the other side is bare carbon

Has anyone had difficulties in installing the Bafang chain guide? It seems like no matter which I try to install it it rubs of the frame or the rear chainstay. ?

Thanks

My height is 172cm with a 78cm inseam, and I am torn between 15.5" and 17.5" frame size.

Before recommending a size, please read my longer post I linked to, you should then see why I am also considering the 15.5", and not just the 17.5".

I just posted here about my rather specific sizing question regarding the E10 frame, and I would appreciate any input of you guys, TIA!

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this post.

I'm looking for someone in the Los Angeles area that can help me debug a problem with my e10 battery.

I literally need to plug in a known working battery into my system and try and turn it on. Should take about 5 minutes.

If anybody in the local area could help me test, I would really really appreciate it. I'll come to you of course.

I've been on the site for a long time. I'm not a tweaker. Send DM if you can help.

Anyone have a list of all the rear swing arm and suspension bearings. Mine is now coming up 5 years and nearly 3.5K miles and the bearings are just starting to get a bit rough. Pretty good considering that my analogue bikes were only getting 2 - 3 years in the mud and slop we ride in during the winter here in the UK.

For the E10 you will need:-
4 x 6901 2RS
4 x 6902 2RS
4 x 6801 2RS
I’ve just replaced mine and have gone with the full complement option
Thanks. There’s some mention on other sites that the bearings are the LLU Max versions. Can you confirm thats the case ?

LLU is an Enduro spec for the seals
I went with the full compliment version which is where the cage is removed and an extra bearing is fitted to see if I could improve the rigidity of the rear end
I got 10,000k out of the original bearings so wasn't worried about the better seal

Max is the version with no cage and an extra ball or two here in Euro land. Took a bearing out to check on the shock mount and it was a 6901 VRS which is a Max equivalent.

Now that I know quantities I’ll order them in.

One more thing, does anyone know the headset bearing outer cage diameters, treated myself to some nice 38mm Zeb shocks that came up on offer, i may as well change the headset when I fit it.

Thanks

Hello fellow forum members!

I thought I`ll post this here since its still a very active thread !

I’ve moved on from HT, starting with a Polygon, then switching to Commencal, then a full "squishy" and now I’m at the point where I want to build my own E-MTB. I’m considering a model from the other side of the world :D – specifically, the Dengfu E10 or E82.

I’d like to share my findings and ask for advice on the best place to source all the parts. From what I’ve read, the E82 is simply a younger sibling of the E10, offering better geometry, so the choice seems pretty straightforward, especially since the price difference for such a setup is almost negligible. As for the motor, I’m leaning towards the Bafang M510 with a 1014 Wh battery, as it’s quiet and efficient and is best suited for my application - I don’t need anything more I`m definitely not a super duper shreader, I`m more of a long distance lesiure rider and I want to be able to do 100/200km trips with ease through forests / single tracks etc. From what I’ve seen, people are managing to do 100 km with the 1014wh/510 setup and still have plenty of battery left. If needed, I can always look for a bigger battery or maybe have one custom built, but the E10 only supports 840 Wh, while the E82 can take batteries of 1000 Wh and larger, which still gives me more capacity for only a small price difference and that`s why I`m leqaning towards the E82...

Now, let’s talk about part sourcing, from Alibaba. I received two quotes – one for the M10 and one for the M82. For the M10 (frame, motor, and battery), the total is $2018-ish , including DDP shipping ( since I`m in Poland, this is super important since the VAT and Customs charges on good From China can be horrendous ) , while the M82 comes to around $2064. The decision seems pretty straightforward since the E82 with the M510 motor, full wiring, a bigger battery, and paint comes at the same price and I`m not even mentioning the better geo, newver model of the frame etc (the only difference ordering from Alibaba and the shop I was looking at is the lack of fancy colors like on the manufacturers catalog, but that's a minor detail since I will be going with a very simple paint color anyway ).

I also got a direct quote from the manufacturer for the E10: frame, motor, paint, and shipping (I think the shipping is included as the mesasge from the rep wasn`t very clear :D ) – the cost is $2150, plus $85 for paint and a 4.2% PayPal fee, which brings the total to $2327. I estimate that the price of the E82 will go up to around $2450, and I don`t really understand the price difference since from both sources I`m getting the same thing with warranty ( well as good as warranty on Chinese parts can be.... )

I also got in touch with a person called "Chilli Shen" - she is ( I think ) the saint I have been looking for as she is "the guy" to go to when ordering anything to do with bikes in Poland, her quote for the e82 with upgraded m560 motor and 1014wh battery came out to $2115 which seems like a nobrainer..

When it comes to Alibaba, I checked out and contacted a store with a 4.8 rating, and the product itself ( frame kit ) has a 5.0 rating from users - sure it only has around 5 reviews but so does the Dengfu store, so it seems like a reliable place to order from. With the price difference, I could get the rear suspension, as it’s the only part I still need. The rest of the components I already have from my HT – FR541 rims, SLX 7120 brakes with 203mm SM-RT86 Rotors, 11s Deore drivetrain, a decent cockpit, and a Pike Ultimate 160mm fork. I’ll probably sell off some unnecessary parts, which could help save a bit of extra cash which would bring the total price down even more.

To all the users here – what would you do in my situation? Where would you order from, and maybe you have some alternative suggestions? I’m confident about the brand and don’t want to change it, as it’s well-known and highly regarded. I’m just unsure where to order to avoid getting a dud and not overpaying.

Please remove if not allowed and thanks for any imput !

Thanks in advance for your help! 😊

Hey Ronystar, I like your choice of color! Did you get it from Dengfu like this, or did you send the frame to a paint shop?
Do you have the paint code?
