YAMAHA YDX MORO PRO PROBLEM

Hi! I bought my Yamaha YDX Moro pro in Japan last October 2020. A few days ago while biking, it started to malfunction. First it registered an error 73 and just turn off by itself. When i switched it back on, again the same thing happened. I tried to change the drive unit from my brother's bike, (same model). Upon testing, it started okay at first but after a few minutes, (+/- 6 minutes) the battery monitor started to drain rapidly (less than 2 minutes from 91% to 0%) and lost all assist. The monitor is still on but the battery shows 0%. When I got home, I charge the battery, and after a few seconds, it came back again to 91%. (jump started the battery). I am sure same problem will happen again since it also happened to my brother's bike. Can anyone please help? Thanks!

It has a 3 year warranty, I would take it in to get checked out.

yes i am planning to send it back to Japan but right now, i am looking for answer here on the web before sending it back, maybe i can fix it myself here in the Philippines. Thanks..

My wife's Moro (which is now my daughters) had the same problem. It would shut off once every other ride and then become every ride to several times a ride. I pulled the lower battery mount off and added a spacer under it to tighten it to the battery. Has not happened since.
