Another thing. Is really worth the RockShox Deluxe RT3, DebonAir, RE:aktiv stock shock or better a standard Super Deluxe Ultimate or Fox DPX2?
Nobody running this shock?

Might have got a bit lost in translation. Are you asking which is the better shock out of the 3 you listed?Nobody running this shock?

The Trek website shows them as the same eye to eye and stroke, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
Only ridden it round the block. Proper outing Weds night. I’ll let you know afterwards. How does it ride?
Coming from a circuit racing background on a cbr1000rr that shock is pure porn! ?Can confirm Ohlins ttx 22 fits on a large frame with correct mount hardware. Thx TF Tuned! ??

Out from those three I would do the same. Super Deluxe with megneg. Or then coil. All depends on what your looking for. If it was my choice, out of those 3, I’d get the Super Deluxe and put a meg neg on it from the outset (but you could always do that later too).
I’ve got the ReAktiv Deluxe RT3 Debonair with Thrushaft. Came on the Rail 9 as standard. Not impressed if I’m honest. Just about to change to Ohlins TTX22 coil. Will have to get correct mount hardware as coming from a Thrushaft shock but apparently they play really nice with this bike!!! ?
If you're going super deluxe check fit. A super deluxe will not fit on a LARGE
Also Santa Cruz models wont fit due to lower bearing. Lower eye needs to have bushingApparently are the same measurements 230x57,5. For example the one mounted on Santacruz Hightower.
That seems to be new DHX2 with smaller reservoir. I guess I need to upgrade to be able to run bigger water bottleOk,didn’t know it. A mate set up a Fox X2 and DHX2 and I have seen a DPX2 too on L size.

That new DHX2 might also have enough clearance to use 65mm stroke length. I do think older has enough clearance only for 60mm which I have.
Having now given it a thorough thrashing I’d gave to agree with you! ?Coming from a circuit racing background on a cbr1000rr that shock is pure porn! ?
Nice! A local NZ suspension place wants $200 just for the mounts to fit an eye to eye shock as the 9 has the reactiv trunnion shock, the 7 already has those mounts?DVO Jade X on a Medium Rail 7

Plenty of clearance, just waiting for a spring now.
TF tuned in UK will supply for about £40 including through bolt. It’s gotta be cheaper to get them shipped?Nice! A local NZ suspension place wants $200 just for the mounts to fit an eye to eye shock as the 9 has the reactiv trunnion shock, the 7 already has those mounts?
Got finally the mounting hw for my coil shock. Two alternatives to install DHX2, either use 10 x 40 and 10 x 54 Fox mounting kits or press 12,7mm du bushings and use the stock shocks mounting hw. Both will work. View attachment 24335
