Does anyone know about the algorithm for the auto mode? I’m curios if full (turbo) assistance is available, or just somewhere in-between?

I ask because with the Giant Yamaha motors, there are 5 assistance levels. In auto mode it fluctuates between Level 2 and Level 4, so full power is never attainable unless you manually select it.

I’m finding this mode gets me up everything I’ve tackled thus far, but not sure if I’m better off popping into turbo on the super steep stuff or just leaving it on eMTB.

In EMTB mode, Bosch system switches between tour and turbo depending on pedal pressure. There is no “in-between” it will either be in tour or turbo.

That ist not true. EMTB is an complete independently mode. It´s not just switching between modes. Pedalstroke response for example, is completely different to all other modes. I ride very often with bosch people. It took over 2 years to develop the first emtb mode.

But basically just seeing if it allows for full power if the need arises...

Thanks for pointing that out. I stand corrected ??
I do find eMTB mode very useful and not as jerky as Turbo mode. It gives a much smoother delivery of power.
