When I first got my Mega I asked a question about pedal strikes and crank lengths and was told to learn to read the trail better...
They kind of had a point. After a while I stopped getting them so often on the Mega and when I switched to the Trek I didn’t get any for ages. I now occasionally get one, usually when pressing on while tired towards the end of the ride.
I’ll have to measure my cranks tonight and see what Trek supply.
