Pole Voima 190mm Travel EMTB

The Voima is the real contender to renewing my levo gen 3, when the time will come.
I just wonder how the Voima could be (in this near future) with (eventually) a semi-integrated battery (like on levo, with a slim tube).
I also wonder if in the future, we could choose motor / battery size.

But heh, this bike is so amazing, in its current state (of art!) i could let me tempt ... Precious ? Precious ! Precious ! Goll ....

Yes. Two of the most capable bikes i've ever ridden. Similar geo in how I've built the Kenevo (Kenevo a bit slacker)

- Kenevo 29er 180mm F/R, Fox Factory eBike Tuned fork, X2 shock.
- Pole Voima 190mm F/R, Rockshox Charger 3, SDLX Shock

I'll reserve the full comparison till I've released the Voima video.

But these are incredible bikes, shame they don't actually produce the Kenevo in 29er.

I'm around your height (6'4) and would also like to know what you think of the frame sizing. As I understand it you have the K3, but could you also be comfortable with the K4?

I'm on K3 but could easily ride a k4. If I were to buy one it'd be the K3.

FINALLY received my raw Voima frameset today after an extended stay in Australian customs.

Sadly though Pole forgot to put the Zeb Ultimate in the box... Emailed support already so I assume it can be posted out express/FedEx. I've already paid import taxes on the value of the Zeb too, so I certainly hope I'm not pinged twice for duty now...

I know! However, we use a plastic hammer, and the table has a plastic surface. We make the links with tight tolerances (for a reason), so that's why some of the inserts need some tapping.

Full battery today in Surrey Hills. Some tight twisty stuff to try. The bike corners extremely well. Probably faster to corner than my rail.

Which is kinda strange as the internet says big bikes with higher BB’s and long chainstays can’t corner?

In fact, I’d go as far as saying that it’s *easier* to move weight from side to side, when pedals are level, especially when the bike is on a neutral weight (ie not compressed or sagged into the travel) as the arc and rider weight distribution is placed higher versus the wheel axles. Makes sense physically.

In addition to that, higher BB and 160mm cranks have obvious pedal clearance benefits when climbing

I really believe in this bike.

I'm really starting to like the Voima even if the styling is polarizing at first.

I’ve got about 150 miles on mine and love it! Cups and crowns almost every ride. Beating my own times up and down. Coming from a Decoy and Gen3 Levo

Recommend upgrading to DHL shipping, got mine in 3 days (after a ten month wait! Great they've got it down to building it in two weeks now?) and you can prepay the customs before it leaves Finland so goes straight to your door? My experience with ordering other gear overseas and going via ParcelFarce it can take weeks even before they send the tax to pay letter?

Reviews are nice but ordered mine mid 2021 when it was just a single prototype and a CAD drawing - sometimes you can judge if something is gona be awesome in advance, the Voima is defiantly that! Bit of cock magnet though, everyone one wants to talk to you about it

Here is mine. I have only done one ride with it and of course it is awesome. I bought the frame set and the delivery time was under 2 weeks. It is currently kind of parts bin build. Bosch new auto mode is really nice in technical rock gardens.
Size is K3.

There roughly all in line on at the bottom brackets, although the Voima is more forward a bit, you can judge the difference between the frame sizing, reach and wheel bases etc. First bike is a 2009 DH Foes Mono 2:1 26 inch in large (with non standard dropper post), next 2019 SC Nomad V4 27.5 inch in X-Large, then the Voima 29 inch in a K3 size.

You can see how the seat posts have come forward over the years although not a really a fair comparison as the DH bike would never be running a seat post that long back in the day. You can guess which one is easy to wheelie seated??

The Voima hasn't got the saddle extender fitted in these pics so that's a bit further back now.
