I like bikes that are different and pushing the boundaries, thinking outside the box. Pole have announced the Voima, Brose Mag S motor, 725Wh BMZ battery. Some thoughts and details in this video.

Considering what a boutique brand Pole is, I would be awfully curious how Brose warranty claims through them are going to work.

I just don’t think that the rear end design would be stiff enough for the things you can use 190mm on.

It's quite clever, they use double bearings on each side, so its a lot stronger and stiffer than you'd imagine at first sight.

I'm intrigued by this, I wouldn't use the 190mm of travel but it must be an absolute hoot to ride and monster truck everything and not have to worry about battery, etc either, apart from the polarizing looks it's a contender for sure.

I hope they do a bit of a re-design round the motor area to make it look better. Presumably they've just done the picture temporarily. They have the advantage of CNCing the bikes so at least they don't have to make new moulds.

Definitely the bike I would most like to try next year - on paper total overkill and a DH straight line monster but I suspect will be a surprisingly fun ride

So it has a BOSCH motor right now and a more traditional battery placing (inserted from the bottom) but still... for the price, the mighty Husqvarna Extreme Cross 10 just seems to be a better option (if you're looking for a 200mm suspension travel eBike).
