Lost My CherryLost my cherry? Had to google it
My problem began almost immediately on a flat MTB peddle. Always used clipless pedals on my road and gravel bikes previous to my stroke. The unclipping motion for my left foot was no longer possible during a ride. If my left foot came off the flat pedal during a ride I would have to stop and correctly place my foot on the pedal. This made absolutely no sense to me …it was frustrating. Then I thought; Hey! “What about a magnetic shoe or pedal?”
I sat down at my coffee table and started drawing up designs that could work …for about 2-3 hours. I thought WOW, am I every smrt. . If I Patent this idea I could make millions $$$.lol
Then I decided to Google “Magnetic Peddles “. I had one of those Laugh Out Loud moments when I saw that there was a variety of manufacturers waaaay ahead of me.
I now use Avery Hustle magnetic peddles.
Different cultures may have different definitions? You may need to refinement your request.…or choose another fruit .I consulted the Urban Dictionary for a good definition of "Lost my cherry". It has never failed me before, but I got this:
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sorry, we couldn't find: lost my cherry
So, I tried "popped my cherry" instead. If I cut and paste the content, I believe that the Sheriff will not like it at all. But if you really want to know, follow the link below:
Urban Dictionary: popped my cherry
Once you are in the Urban Dictionary, have a browse; the content can be amazingly funny. I never cease to be amazed at just how funny people can be.
Thank you for the suggestionDoes the water have to be carried on the bike or would something like this help ?

I can lay claim to riding down steep stuff long before BMX was a thing ..on a tourer with Sturmey Archer 3spd grip shift gearing on massive pit heaps ( coal waste) in the North West Durham coalfields when I was just a nipper ..
I rode the same bike on a School ( not mine) trip in 1969 which my uncle led ..(he was the history teacher at said school)..I'd be 12 years old and the youngest on the tour..I remember coming down Snaefell mountain ( Isle of Man) .. on tarmac (asphalt) with the speedo bouncing off the scales max'd 40mph ..mind you there was another lad riding a Raleigh Chopper and had an arse that finished at the back of his neck after the 10 day trip( that long thin saddle just about split him in half )
..so maybe I was an Mtb pioneer along with God knows how many others
I never noticed it the golfers gloves , it was cold on coast but ok after I got in woods. Tried out my new Mt500 trousers a bit baggy but not a problem keep u warm as well as dry. Seamstress cut a few inches off bottom but still have a full zip so sorted.Good to see you’re bundled up for the weather …but even those golfers are wearing gloves.
Tuck my leg into my shorts? That’s kinda funny . My left side is about 50% affected so it’s not too bad. When I get off the bike I sometimes feel the need to explain, to others, that I’m not “hammered “ at 9:00 am. Certain words are lost for a moment and my speech can sometimes sound slurred. (I don’t want to be known as “That Guy”)My arm sling tore once (arms still attached, but completely paralysed) was a nightmare having it flap about
Ended up tucking it down the front of my shorts and bollox to all the weird looks
A flappy leg though would be dangerous and touger to tuck in the front of your shorts
Does it accidently lock out, or you have some control over it?
Cheers
Mark
“Three Dog Climb”On me tod today..so headed up the North Tyne Valley to Kielder again ..having heard that it was opened to great fanfare last Thursday ..I had hoped that the last section of the Skydive Trail ( Bewshaugh) was complete ..however having met Daniel who works for the contractor re-furbing / re-designing the trail at the bottom of what was Purdom Plunge he told me that while it was close to completion trees were still being harvested but it shouldn't be too far away ..
Had a canny chat with Daniel who has done a lot of work over on the western 7 Stanes ..Ae / Dalbeattie / Mabie & Kirroughtree..none of which I've visited on an ebike ( but all on a regular mtb) ..
Anyways ..today was just a play day sessioning certain sections more than once on the new Lonesome Pine Trail, Deadwater & a short section of The Osprey Trails ..
Nee idea as to altitude gain or mileage but felt like I'd had a canny session with just one glob of power left .
Pics..
Flags & bunting left from last weeks grand opening ..

A nice bit of playtime but looking forward to riding with me marra's again on Saturday at 7 Stanes Newcastleton re-scheduled after the grotty weather last weekend
Just do your thing man. It is what it is, explain nothing. Those that have issues with it are the ones with the issues, not you. End of.Tuck my leg into my shorts? That’s kinda funny . For those that I see often , they understand, but I get the occasional “what’s the problem?” or “It’s only a double black diamond “ from others. Which is probably why I ride solo most of the time.
You should let them into the house from time to time ..they would probably like it even more when it's lit ..Manflu so not out much this week. Only bit of graft I seem to do nowadays is stacking wid. Funny how my 3 lads seem to miss the delivery bit but love sitting in front of it .

See the sun there as well I was wondering where it was when I went out. Not much shelter there . Area forecast for tomorrow in BCK.Went out today for the exercise. Was in two minds about whether or not to post this pic which does sum up pretty nicely how dire it was. You'll have to believe me that's the Eastern Solent in the distance.
