I feel for you with all that mud, Iāll take the dry desert any day. Iād hate to have to clean my bike after ever ride. It has been about 5 rides since I washed the bike.

Our rattle snakes donāt always rattle. They do strike without warning, but I am definitely glad I am not in your shoes. The eastern US does have Coral Snakes and Cottonmouth Snakes that donāt rattle. I do not like snakes, they freak me out more than anything else on our trails. Itās the season for them, March through early October. You guys are lucky!
They installed a rattle on your snakes to let you know where they are
Ours donāt come with a warning
Rattle Snakes? Pah, nothing compared to cattle bell cows in the Alps! In most cases these even donāt have to coil up. You come around a corner and up you go.Our rattle snakes donāt always rattle. Beautifull area! When I was a kid I had such a turtle. But donāt do this in other countries if not sure about the species. I nearly grabbed about such size of a snapper turtle in US to put here aside from the road. Luckily there was a local guy that hold me back from grabbing her, kicked her with a stick when she suddenly snapped unbelieveable fast with a long neck to the back of her shell.Rocky trails and beautiful nature of Cape Kamenjak, Croatia.

Nice MacGyver hackPictures of fixes that shouldn't have worked but did.
About a third of the way into our ride Wes cracked a rim on my lender bike and it wouldn't hold air anymore. While I laughed at him he proceed to wrap the area in electrical tape, threw on a couple zip ties and somehow we finished the ride and only had to stop to top off the tire twice...
Rim separated at the seam from an impact btw.

Got to have trust in the human race occasionally. Left it for 6 hours in the heather once.I don't care how isolated the location; I would not sleep unless the bike was in the van with me!
That and the perimerer trip wire and claymore mines . .Got to have trust in the human race occasionally.
Steady on Tim its only a bike haha. Seriously I don't normally do that but that road i parked beside would not see cars in the middle of the night. There are still a lot of people round my area who's doors are left unlocked when the go out keys left in cars . If you go to some places there's kayaks and things like that just lie beside the waterside. Just like the good old days. That and the perimerer trip wire and claymore mines . .
Yeah so did I once you'd gone ...I used to ring my girlfriend from one of those call boxes at the top of the street. Happy days!
Fake! There are no hills in NL!Few days a week I'm working from home. When I can I do a short Lunch break ride. To free up my mind for the next meetins ;-)
