But then I realized you added some colour with photoshop. well done.

C'mon mate ..do you really think I've got enough smarts to be able to photoshop anything ( no answer necessary ) ..the North Tyne Valley always has a grey cloud over it ..

Its like winter has arrived! The trails were pretty slippery with the snow and trying to figure out where the roots and rocks were as a challenge.

Below the snow line the trails were wet but grippy if you avoided the diagonal roots.

At the bottom of the mountain, the run off was just starting to build. 75 -100mm if rain for Monday!

Regular walking cycle path i use. Seems they are tarring this it was a railway line many years ago . About a mile long putting in neon solar lights as well.

Too much to be honest and I decided to shorten my tour by taking clearer paths after seeing two trees collapsing in the forest due to the snow weight
My bottle stayed really fresh at least

The gondola was closed again and because I was lazy couldn't ride up.

Then I went for a xc ride. Suddenly I came across a fence and there was no way I could find a place to get to the other side of it.
Fortunately, I got under it
and directly onto the lovely stone trail.

Fortunately, the rest of the route was better.

Cracking ride on the N.York Moors yesterday ..video by Drew Birks ..thanks to Dave for organising, Wayne ,Richy, Rod, Phil & Drew..for an excellent ride ( despite the conditions) ..for their great craic & humour .
We will be back when it's dry & dusty as the singletrack & scenery was excellent ..as was the Lord Stones cafe at the beginning and end of the ride ..
