They're pretty much exactly the same size as my Raceface Chesters. The chester is slightly longer due to it's chamfered front and back edges - but the platform area is the same.

Shape wise, they're inverted with the chester having a wider front than rear and the rockbros having a wider rear than front.
Too early to say to be honest especially as adjusting to the bike. I found my foot naturally sitting too outward on the rockbros at the start for some reason so had to consciously move more inboard, but once adjusted it was fine. With the extra spikes it's way harder to re-adjust your foot position on the fly - so that will depend on each person as to what they like/want. It's already fairly difficult to adjust on the chesters, so I think I'll be removing some spikes on the rocksbros. Felt fine though on the descents. I had other things to worry about like 20mm wider bars which caused one fast clip, didn't want to hack them straight down until I'd seen how the 29 felt with feedback compared to the 27.5.Very interesting ZF, which ones work better for you?
Visually, I prefer the Chester shape, as I place my foot more forward on the pedal, in comp to a road-bike. However, Rockbros has more spikes and really works well with my riding boots, so I will leave it as is for now.
You have very impressive moles in Australia.

So far .. Really liking it .. Ultimately we're all really lucky as most of the bikes available are actually very good ! Which one is "best" or "better" is very subjective. Similarly with the motors. Guess I got lucky searching. Couldn't find one in a shop to buy - they said April 2022 .... But found a few online so bagged one of them !How are you finding your new Jam2 ? I was after one but couldn’t find any in stock locally so went for the Haibike instead as I’m far too impatient to wait. Don’t regret the Haibike at all, but the Focus does look nice. (As do E-Sommets, YT’s, Orbeas, Merida, Canyon blah blah blah)
the first picture has a lot to tell about riding stance, compared to the rider at the back, the rider at the front has the shoulders tense and upwards close to the ears, the arms straight at the elbows and bent at the wrists and the knees pointing inwards instead of paralel...Saturday ride and some adjusting and also repairing

Not sure if this is what you're after but look in the Map/Layer section (icon bottom right). This'll give you the map choices you prefer etc.The one thing I've come across that I don't like is that it seems to have other folks routes pre-loaded onto the map ..and up to now I havent found a way to get rid of them ( anyone know how ? )

Sorry if I blurred the pictures...
If you have to Loctite a rear axle then something is seriously wrong, either in setup or design!I had to Loctite Blue the rear axle to stop it coming loose.
I agree. The rear axle has a range of torques (12-14Nm I think, printed on the bolt head). I started with 12Nm and quickly went to 14Nm. It was still coming loose. So I used blue Loctite and I had no further problems. I suspect that the designer should have specified blue Loctite right from the start, or different engineering solution to overcome the space constraints. If you have to Loctite a rear axle then something is seriously wrong, either in setup or design!
Couldn't be arsed to stop and take the time to "like" as I was flicking through this section ....?Couldn’t be arsed to stop, get off and take a pic. So you get some trees to look at View attachment 63695

Incidentally, how about this for a bit of tin foil hattery. The route I took today passes through a big Tesco car park. I stopped to tie my lace & when I set off again, the motor gave a 510 error. I turned it off & on again & it was fine. The motor has never given any errors before. But get this, in the past I've had several occasions in the same car park where my car wouldn't lock or unlock on the fob.
They're beaming some sort of mind control ray from the deli counter, it's the only rational answer. ???
