I thought it was particularly bad today, like a lot of the bedrock heavy trails its broken up badly after the January cold snaps
Sounds like a challenge , I've not been there this year yet
I'll be straight up there as soon as this travel malarky is eased up
There's a high line on the left if I recall , it's a bit narrow and nuts.
My mate on a Kenevo always takes it , it's smoother and avoids all the Gnar.
Get the exit wrong though and it's a 15 ft drop OTB flat landing in a rockbed stream.
One of these days there will be tears ??

As daft as it might sound ..I recognised the sign in picture as being a " Peak District "type sign ..not sure if I've ridden that track but a group of us had 3 days riding in the area a few years back staying at The Ladybower Inn ..and we did pass though Hayfield so might well have done ...

As EMF, dusting of snow and 40+ mph wind.
But utterly brilliant.

And a big off.
Powering along at speed I pedal clipped the innocuous root in the foreground coming out of a dip, no chance of recovery, cartwheeled and came to abrupt stop against the log in the undergrowth. My bad. Pretty lucky to get away with it.

Must be the day for it, I did the same except it was a sniper rock that got me, over the bars, hit the floor hard.

Whole left side now hurts, nothing broken I think, but probably bruised ribs.
