Another trip up to the Tower today, this time without my wife so far less 'sightseeing'!

I took the long route back - good job I didn't take the missus that way yesterday, she would have divorced me. The mud was horrendous. Gloopy, cloying and deep! Made it round though. Pics from the other side to yesterday, looking back to Winter Hill in the distance (usual stomping ground) and the other with the tower again.

Had to remove some haze in them so they look a little over-processed.

There's been that much mud this winter, the rear pads wore away to nothing today after only 265 miles of use... They were resin, gone for sintered replacements...

my highlight being the relatively new Blue Tier to St Helens (Bay of Fires trail), 42km of seriously long downhills with epic flow and big climbs.

I wanted to do that ride last ride last year when I was there but sadly didn't, looks epic!

It's real and you would have to ask the Bobcat how he does it without getting puncture wounds....
