Můj otec ne, kdyby nejedl kravskou patu, vemeno, dršťky a podobně, zemřel by v dětství.

This may be hard for you egg enthusiasts to deal with, but I hate eggs! According to my mother, I've hated eggs since I was old enough to vomit. Nothing she could do would induce me to eat eggs of any kind. That includes mayonnaise and when you think how many food products have mayonnaise in, that's starting to become a problem! I wished I liked eggs as it would be much more convenient, cheaper and probably good for me too! I have tried at various intervals without success. My best chance was when I was a young man out camping/fishing with my mates. We ran out of food and the shops were shut; end result was that we went without any food at all for more than 24 hours. We were active and out in the fresh air, so you can imagine how hungry I was. One of the lads went shopping and all he brought back was eggs! I tried, I really tried, but that boiled egg stuck in my throat and I just gagged and heaved it up. It was another 12 hours before I got the chance to eat anything. I swear I could have eaten a scabby dog, but deffo no eggs!

You do need a few moments of digestion ! Or the French quick version and drink a "digestive" ...

It was all for nothing .. I forgot my helmet and realised half way there so came back and nobbed about in the garden with the dog

It was all for nothing .. I forgot my helmet and realised half way there so came back and nobbed about in the garden with the dog instead like @carlbiker needs to :

@ZF, your hound looks very smug, he probably ate half of your French toast.
Looks amazing... I have not had one for a while... I need to take a trip across the moat for the real thing!

Zimm "carlbiker" has changed his name to "Nobberer"
nice round sounding name
I think he requested it ?? Sadly we still have to "@" carlbiker .. rather than "@" Nobberer  ... hopefully he'll get his mojo back soon and can be "Armadillo" again ! Or the forum software might auto upgrade him to "Master Nobber" or "Active Nobber" ?:eek: He's probably been around too long to get "Well known nobber" ..

Not much mileage but a good few hours sprucing up some trails ..removing overhanging branches etc ..I'm meeting up with a non electric mate tomorrow for a bigger ride in the local area so had to tidy up ..?..
Funnily enough I had never been on this particular bridleway before (pic) and still don't know if gets to its destination as it looked a bit rough in the clear felled but as it was taking me away from where I wanted to be I didn't investigate fully ..another day !
Happy with what I got done but my right arm is a bit tired with all the sawing ..

Met my old mate Jaco today and it was great to have a riding buddy again ..
For whatever reason having had a Levo Comp on order for a couple of months he decided to cancel early December ..just got a bit tired of waiting ..
Having had an extended ride on my bike today he is really regretting his decision and is getting back in touch with the bike shop to see what is available ..( I think he is quite taken with the Whyte) ..
For my part ( bearing in mind that I'm a big fan of Santa Cruz ) while I was riding his Bronson which I've always regarded as a seriously nice bike ..I could hardly wait to jump back on to my ebike ..and I can't really envisage a time where I would want to jump back on to a normal mtb ..
Jaco ..

Very perceptive Mr.Zimms ..thats probably exactly what he is thinking .
Hindsight can sometimes be a wonderful thing ..in Jaco's case it wasn't... I think if he had test ridden an e bike more than just twice around the car park ..he never would have cancelled his original Levo ..I've never seen anyone so smitten ..

Strictly speaking ..no..
My mtb still Iives at home but it's gifted to my lad ..or it would be if the various bits & bobs that need replacing were fixed ..but if I felt the need I could always take it out ..I don't think he would complain after he got a bike of that value for nowt (2017 T130rs) ?

Just come back from a very nice week in rural Tasmania, Aussies will know of Blue Derby (an old tin mining town that is now a MTB riding destination) and the surrounding areas and that it has a great network of trails. @flash and I had 4 days of amazing riding with my highlight being the relatively new Blue Tier to St Helens (Bay of Fires trail), 42km of seriously long downhills with epic flow and big climbs. Hired a Levo SL and was pleasantly surprised at how capable it was on the trails.
