I assume you mean the recording of videos !, i have rode with my phone mounted for years as its what i use for gps, strava, music etc and never once had an issue with the camera being ruined as a result but if its video recording you mean then yes it will have an impact with the vibrations.Avoid mounting your phone on bicycle or on motorcycle if you need phone camera. Vibrations and bumps ruin the phone camera.
Thanks that looks like a great mount. Going to order one! If nothing I can use it on a motorcycle also!Ive tried lots and this is by far the best.

ConfirmQuadlock all day long. Accept no substitutes.
I use the SP connect system on all my bikes, as they do an anti vibration dampening base, so you don’t trash your phone camera.
indeed...MOTORbikeDo Quadlock do an anti vibration mount now, as a lot of guys on the motorbike forums were getting their cameras trashed using this mount?
Phone in pack, Garmin on bars . Right tool, right job!!!
Typing "quadlock anti vibration" into you chosen search engine might help. My first hit was: Motorcycle - Vibration DampenerDo Quadlock do an anti vibration mount now, as a lot of guys on the motorbike forums were getting their cameras trashed using this mount?
I've heard a lot about vibrations breaking cameras on smartphones, but the 'Motorcycle - Vibration Dampener' is really just for big motorbikes, right? It looks like it would be too bulk for an eMTB. A pity, as I'd love a way to use my iPhone 12 Max with the GB & Parks app that I use when walking as it has full, proper OS maps on there.
Maybe I'll investigate Garmin...
Could you send me a couple of photos and list exactly the items that work with a bike?Wrong. SP Connect do an anti vibration mount that’s very discreet. I have one on both motorbikes and ebikes, and haven’t had an issue with the camera on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. As the phone cost north of £1200, I was a little concerned, but it’s been absolutely fine.
