I have one on my road bike and another on my mountain bike. I've never had the phone fall off even on the gnarliest trails. It also has the advantage that there are no straps going across the face. The phone mounts in a couple of seconds. There a few vendors selling similar mounts, but the one I referenced is designed for phones with a case.
