Yeah , an expensive bike ! It's not something you want to protect then fine , some of us do .

No kidding. I've sold a few bikes over the years for various reasons, but mostly cause the tech changes and I don't mind keeping up. Keeping the bike looking new can go a long ways towards getting some extra bucks at resale. Plus I'm hard enough on bikes as it is. Part of the fun of owning this beautiful machine is adding some bits and parts too. Heck, we get one life. Let's enjoy it.

Fitted the larger grey volume spacer today, and upped the shock psi from 197 to 208. Went for a quick 10 mile blast and I’m happier with the changes, and will use it as a base for further tweaking. My weight is 152 lbs (birthday suit only). How does this compare with other people’s settings?
Also put the fork pressure up from 97 to 104 when i got back, after bottoming out once from a moderate jump.

I am about the same weight. I have my 36 Fork set at 82 Psi and the rear shock set up with 230 Psi. This was setup using sag measurement. I only have 2 rides on it so far and it has felt fine. Might do some tweaking later on when.

I saw a Rise in person today. My LBS got a Medium mint green one in to show off. It's so beautiful. What a cool looking bike in person. I didn't get a chance to ride it for real, but sat on it in the shop and had fun with turning on walk mode while sitting on it. That was fun! Unfortunately the next ones coming in aren't until June and July. A large white one in June and the one I ordered, coal blue XL, in July.

That’s interesting, more in the back and less up front ?

Oh wow. That's amazing. The bike shop said the one they have there belongs to the Canadian distributor. The ones they are getting in apparently are 1 month earlier than anyone else in Canada. He checked his orders and it definitely said not arriving until June or July. I so wish it was earlier than that. Don't know how you can order one and get it a week later. Even the Orbea website shows June for XL and even September and October for the other sizes. At least for an M10.

The shop (who also do a lot of online sales) seemed to have got a delivery of several M and L M10s, i just happened to check the internet at the right time. Couldn’t find anywhere else with one in stock. I got lucky ?
I do wonder whether Brexit will hit supplies to the UK as some European bike manufacturers seem to be holding off supplying to the UK while they get their heads around the additional paperwork and tariff charges. I did hear of tariffs of 14% on EU bike imports (6% on emtbs).

I could live with March July delivery but now I am having second thoughts cancelling July end off July??
Orbea need to stop announcing there new which they can’t meet the deemed or bikes aren’t even available for a months.
I had this issue with my wild and rallon we was not even in a Global pandemic

For UK buyers, the place i bought mine from (SigmaSports) is still showing a large M10 in stock in white, or medium in blue or white. No XLs though.

My opinion on the bike (after riding it for a while): the M10 Rise is the best bike I've ever had for a great margin. Every review I watched on the internet was lacking the right information about the rise's power: it has plenty of power on Profile's 2 boost. I guess the reviewers forgot to use the Etube app and change to profile 2. I also maxed out all the assist on boost (profile 2) using the etube app. Yes, it has so much power on that mode (60NM feels really good on this bike). It's so much better than the Specialized SLs (not even in the same league - 35NM vs real 60NM). Bike is very light and very well built. The quality of the Shimano and other components is amazing. The bike doesn't even look like an ebike. And now that I got used to its frame, I much prefer it than my Trek Rail 7. Actually I sold my Trek Rail 7 after getting used to the Rise M10. I was going to buy the Wild FS but they're all sold out. I ended up buying a Santa Cruz Bullit. Let me know if you have any questions on the Rise. BTW, the battery cover on my Rise is already broken (it's such a bad designed part). I've been having a hard time getting Orbea to send me the part. I've been using a velcro to keep the battery cover in its place. I'm 6'1 200 pounds and got a Large frame.

That's a CRAZY high pressure in the fork for your weight...something doesn't seem right.

4 rides in I can confirm that the EP8RS is considerably more powerful than the SL1.1. It is also less noisy and feels natural to ride. So far very impressed. Beautiful bike. My M10 weighs 18.6kg with pedals and a lightweight (1550g) set of wheels with tubeless Ice Spiker Pros.
On Profile's 2 boost mode, maxing out the assist on the app, it's really very powerful and I can compare it to my Trek Rail 7. It's amazing what the could do. I think the youtubers who reviewed that bike didn't know how to set the power on the app.

When you say battery cover do you mean the charging port cover ?
Agree with everything else you say , I was also wondering if the testers had it in profile 2 , it breezes up hills in boost mode on that setting . I rode last weekend and got home thinking it felt harder work , somehow I'd managed to turn boost down in settings , I still smashed my best time on Strava mind lol . You really can ride it however you want , I'm still doing same or higher average and max heart rate as i did on my normal bike but I feel fresher , I never expected that at all .

You're absolutely right. I'm getting the same times I got with my former Trek Rail 7 (Gen 4th Bosch Motor) on the Rise. It's amazing. And yes, my heart rate is higher than the one I got with the Trek (which is a better thing). Yes, the charging port cover has such a bad design. I'm attaching the pictures of what has broken.

The charging port cover is extremely stiff on mine and I’m being super careful when opening it. I suspect I’ll also haveva broken one soon ?

Once I get my Rise (hopefully in the next week or two), I'll look at designing something better than can be 3D printed. Thinking about something that would use magnets and a thin gasket or perhaps something simply more low profile.

Please, let us know. Most of the owners will need a new part. I've been having a hard time with Orbea to get the part. A magnet design would have been much better for such a good bike (and pricey).

That’s what I was thinking.

From another comment, anyone buying this type of bike should never even mention about the lack of power, or they are buying the wrong bike and the same goes for the reviewers.

I totally agree, it’s 60Nm which is the same as the E7000 so I think that’s the obvious comparison.

Got mine this week and was really impressed, then I found profile 2 and had an even bigger grin on my face!

It's such a bad design and Orbea is giving me a hard time on a replacement.
If it makes things a little better, maybe Orbea isn’t the only bike with this issue. I stopped by my LBS today to ride the Levo SL (demo) around the streets to get another feel for it and the same part is broken. I looked down only to see the charging port was left open and noticed it wouldn’t stay closed and they had tape on it. I’m not sure how similar of a part they are, but clearly the same issue.

You're right. My other bike (Santa Cruz bullit) also has a very cheap plastic cover (doesn't look waterproof). My Trek Rail 7 (that I sold) had a magnetic battery charger cover and I never had a problem with it.
