FYI Levo owners. Requires battery update X 23.1 or above. This update now brings Infinite Tune to everyone.

just to confirm the infinite tune does not work with battery 2.22 we will have to update the firmware to take advantage if it is one
as far as I know in ver .23 they have fixed the bug that Blevo and Zworks exploited and they now allow you to st motor current individually in each mode
there is also a motor update which supposedly releases more power/torque but so far I can find ant details except the graph on the Bleveo facebook page

I’m not too sure, but I think that you’ve got an unlimited amount of tuning options. I’ll give it a go later.
I only got the 10.22.3 firmware, so looks like i’ll Have to update.
I did notice that the app has updated and now says ifinate tune, but does not allow me to adjust any differently.

Strangely my battery health has gone from 94% up to 95%

On closer inspection I see I now have eco trail turbo and peak power.
No longer MC and no longer Acceleration

Do we need to book into a specialized dealer to get the battery updated, if so, it I'll it wait for them to release the new motor FW and just get them both done at the same time.

Hit the restore factory default button.
I did and it was not as expected.
All the levels were in the lower range.

dont know what the differences will be but if you use Blevo or Zworks some of the apps wont work any more but fortunately all the Bleveo ride monitoring and smart mode date will still work

Is it free under warranty etc or is this a paid service?

Also blevo works with .23 apparently they lose a few features but others still work.

far as I know should be free
in blevo you wont be able to set motor current less than 20, interesting specialised now call it peak power and there doesnt appear to be an acceleration response setting but that might appear when the app detects ver 23.... maybe!!!

OK, here’s the detail. I found some info on the German help site and I’ve translated it:

What is Infinite Tune?
  • Infinite Tune allows you to customize the peak power (formerly called maximum motor current) for each of the three levels of support (Eco, Trail, Turbo) individually in the Infinite Tune menu.
385FAD8C-B9B7-4E37-B368-D37AD266272F.png

What are the benefits of Infinite Tune?
  • As the name implies, you have almost unlimited possibilities to customize the motor characteristics to your personal preferences and needs.
  • Enjoy the freedom to customize your Levo / Kenevo exactly as you need it for your riding style, terrain and desired performance or range.
When will Infinite Tune be available and how can I use it?
  • Infinite Tune is part of the new Mission Control version 1.2, so first install the update on your smartphone.
  • Infinite Tune additionally requires a firmware update of the battery to version X.23.
  • Please note that due to a new communication protocol within the X.23 firmware, third-party apps connected to your bike may no longer be compatible. Using third-party apps is also not recommended.
What causes the change of peak power (previously called max motor current)?
  • Peak power controls the maximum power that the motor can pull out of the battery when the rider is pedaling very hard.
  • Lowering the peak power limits the maximum motor power, but noticeably improves the range because power peaks that consume relatively much energy are avoided.
What is the difference between support and peak performance?
  • Support: The engine amplifies the power that ride puts through the pedals. With 100% support, the rider input is increased by a factor of 3.2. With 50% support, the power the rider puts through the pedals is increased by a factor of 1.6. Thus, you can control with the parameter support by what factor the engine strengthens the driver's power.
  • Peak Power : The Peak Power parameter allows you to regulate how much power the motor maximizes in the peak. Assuming an engine can temporarily deliver a maximum of 500 watts, then at 100% peak power it will reach this limit with the corresponding input from the rider. With 50% peak power, the maximum is reached with 250 watts of support, the engine does not contribute more power, no matter how hard you pedal. Thus one can determine the limit for turbo, trail and eco mode.
Accelerometer sensitivity

This parameter is no longer present in Mission Control 1.2 because the "Race" setting may have an effect that was perceived by many riders as irregular engine support. To prevent this effect, the parameter is now fixed to "Eco".

The following graphics explain the difference between the old setting and the new Infinite Tune options. They also visualize the effects of adjustments on support and peak performance in trail mode.

A) Motor current settings with battery firmware X.22 (before Infinite Tune)
  • Peak performance by default at par with support (when maximum motor current regulator is set to 100%)
  • All three modes are clearly separated
  • The rider can not achieve full turbo power (maximum engine support) in trail mode

B) Infinite tune settings with battery firmware X.23.0 or higher
  • For each mode, the support and peak power can be set as desired
  • Here: Trail 70% with 100% peak performance
  • Conclusion: With more power on the pedals, the rider in Trail can achieve the same engine assistance as in the turbo

C) Infinite tune settings with battery firmware X.23.0 or higher
  • For each mode, the support and peak power can be set as desired
  • Here: Trail 50% with 70% peak performance
  • Conclusion: The rider can get the same motor power as the standard setting, but has to put more watts into the pedals

And here’s the battery firmware update details:

NEW BATTERY FIRMWARE X.23 LEVO / KENEVO

We are pleased to announce the availability of the new battery firmware X.23 for all Levo / Kenevo.

Note: In the Mission Control App, the firmware version is shown in decimal, in this case X.23. In the Update Tool of the Specialized dealer, the firmware version is displayed hexadecimal as X.17.

Which functions does the X.23 firmware contain?

1.) You can use the "Infinite Tune" feature, which is part of the new Mission Control App version 1.2. After updating both the Mission Control App and the battery firmware, it opens up completely new possibilities for engine adaptation. Infinite Tune is explained in detail in this article .

2.) Wired third-party light support is activated. It is the responsibility of the dealer and the driver to verify the function (Specialized does not guarantee function and compatibility) .Lightport output values:
  • Only MY18 Levo frames are prepared for internal light cable routing
  • Lupine offers the 1200mm 'Lightcable Brose' to connect a lamp to the engine
  • The Lupine 'SL S Brose' lamp head is a product that we can recommend based on tests.
  • Light & Motion offers the Seca 1800 and Nip / Tuck 800 lights, which work with the Brose 1.3 motor. These do not include a
  • Brose-specific engine plug, so it is up to the driver and dealer to consult with their Rider Care team and properly connect the cables.
3.) Smaller fixes at low Relative State of Charge (RSOC) values: improved performance at low ambient temperatures and low residual charge

Which batteries can / should be updated?

We recommend updating all MY16-MY18 Turbo Levo / Kenevo batteries with the new firmware version, especially for using the high quality Infinite Tune feature.

Please note that due to a new communication protocol within the X.23 battery update, third-party apps that are connected to your bike may not be compatible and their use is not recommended.
