Would this mean that you can also get up to 920w out of a 2019 Haibike? That might make them a lot more popular in the states.

Think they could steepen that seat tube angle a bit more? It might be some sort of sliding scale climbing mode deal going on in the top tube as it looks like a pivot at the bottom of the seat tube that also looks really fragile. I rode the owners bike at Interbike 4 years ago and I do admit it was pretty snappy but I'll never pony up for one.

In order for a Haibike to get to 920w you would have to go to a higher battery voltage and have the software that supports it. As all their software is proprietary and no one makes a 48v battery to fit it I doubt it would be possible.

920w is ok for on the road use but overkill for eMTB's I feel. All the BBS02's and BBSHD's that I have ridden that are at or over 1000w are dog shite. Heavier than need be, granted they use the archaic cadence sensing PAS but the integrated MAX is a 1000w and even though it has a torque sensor it is still too big and heavy.

Somewhere around 750w peak, which Levo's will get to within 50 watts of, is plenty enough if the system has a good torque sensor.

Strange looking bike. They definitely can’t be accused of following geometry trends like sheep with that steep seat tube angle and long stem...!
