Power v weight v £ for me.
Specialised sl 35 nm torque. Beautiful bike imo. Nearly paid there and then but the power was ….. poor. Esp given the cost nearly £5k

Specialised levo 80 odd nm. Great gobs of torque. Very heavy but very easy to pedal. Hills just pulled you up no great effort required although power can be turned down but I didn’t see the point in carrying all that battery around

Test road the rise. Cheaper than the sl but more power and way lighter than the levo. Plus you could add an extender. Must admit I tested the carbon rise which was lighter still and actually paid on line for the alloy rise for the bigger battery. Tiny bit disappointed with the weight when the alloy rise arived but not for how much it cost.

But depends how you ride and how fit you are I guess. Some guys their arse never leaves the seat. So the weight doesn’t matter. Some guys don’t notice the weight anyway but if you’re jumping and wheelying and lifting the front over bumps and routes especially, you will notice the weight.

Rise for me is prefect balance of weight v power for the money. Range for my poor level of fitness is questionable but I’m getting fitter. And that, is the point. While having fun of course or it will not happen at all 👍

I test rode the spesh levo and levo sl, the yt decoy 29 and mx and the rise m20.

I ended up getting the canyon Spectral on cf9 cos they had a sale and it was in stock. I love it to bits, it feels more playful than the other full fat bikes, has tonnes of power and a huge battery.

Out of the levo sl and rise I preferred the rise because I didn't really want to spend 5.5k on a bike with so little assist when I could get a better analogue bike for cheaper.

I preferred the decoys over the levo because whilst the levo felt easy and simple to ride the decoys just felt very comfy and like I was the pilot not passenger
