14k is a big pill to swallow tho, and if the s work model has a price bump, then that leaves room for all other models to have one as well. The current price of a Comp Alloy is 6k, with a price bump it goes to 7-8k? Crazy amount compared to other brands. But let's see, at this point, I just want to see the bikes after such a long wait.

It is difficult to understand Specialized pricing. Take the current Levo Comp Carbon, now listed on the Specialized website at $8999. USD. This is the same 2022 model which I purchased in fall of 2023 on sale for $ 5100. USD. I assumed that was a close out at that time.
Specialized has now tagged the same bike as a 2025 model, so I guess the Gen 4 model will be a 2026 model branding? I agree with the others that the pricing for the new bike will exceed that of a top line Moto. Crazy reality!

Specialed has the most expensive EMTBs on the market, not Santa Cruz, Pivot, Yeti, Ibis, Crestline, etc…. When you compare them apples to apples Specialed always costs more and generally has worse house brand parts for the cock pit.

Agreed, the S-branded parts and build specs are nothing special. It is their worldwide network of dealers, warrantee and innovation, R & D that sets them apart from the rest, IMO. This is particularly true with the Levo line. Power delivery, tunable apps are now prevalent in the industry but Specialized pioneered this and still leads the way. I believe that the new Levo Gen 4 will be a refinement of these technologies, while not earth shattering, worthwhile.
I'm just not looking forward to draining my bank account to get one, but such is the price of the bleeding edge. This has always been true of the cycling industry. I am of an age to have enjoyed over 40 years of MTB and wish to have the best technology going forward. As Warren Miller famously said, if you don't do it this year, you will be one year older when you do! For me the time is now! Bring on the spring roll out of the Gen 4 Levo, PLLEEASE! Im thinking it will be at Sea Otter?

Yesterday I went to my dealer and asked about available G3 carbon models in S4. Only COMP is still available for Germany. But I don't like the spec, I would simply have to convert too much. SWORKS is offered for 8.5k (but only in S2, S3... coming from 15K??) which makes it interesting for me as I expect 12k for the G4 PRO Modell... (talking in €€€€)...
As far as I know, PRO and SWORKS have only been available as 2024 models so far. I assume that the two will come as G4 2025 models and COMP, Expert and possibly alloy models will follow as 2026 models in fall.

Then go buy a Trek

Ew Trek.

I really want a slash plus tbf, but not for £11,000.

They can FRO with that pricing. So can Spesh actually.

Whyte would get my money if they didn't use the Clevis linkage, personal preference having spent the last 6 years on one. I dont think I'll have another Levo because of it.

Vala at 170/160 would be the next choice.

Why Vala? The new Bullit will be coming in April, it’s basically a longer travel Vala.

If Amflow can build a 42.33 lb ebike with an 800wh battery it is very possible.
It’s not that light. Per Amflow’s site it’s at least 44lbs, and that’s only with a Fox 36, EXO/EXO+ tires, and a total weight limit of only 275 lbs where most e-bikes are rated for 300+. That’s part of the reason they could reduce frame weight leading to some reviewers mentioning the lack of stiffness.

Rumour has it that even the Specialized sales guys say it will be expensive...
And if they state it, we can fasten the seatbelts...

The market is not in a great condition, I doubt it'll sell like expected if it's very expensive.

Here in Canada the new 2025 Stumpjumper 15, 2025 Turbo Levo SL & revised 2025 Enduro UDH are all on sale right now...selling bikes at full MSRP is very hard right now.

+-30% off on new 2025 stuff, some of these models are not even out since a full calendar year.

I think you can check on the website for the model if there is a shop still having one available in Germany. Did you try that?

Just to put you guys in the picture , some of you were saying how expensive a Specialized SWorks is and 12000 dollars is ridiculously expensive and that they normal sell at 11 k etc , with the import duties the price of a Specialized Gen 3 Turbo Levo LTD is 15 200 dollars , and probably the new Gen 4 will be a very similar price , unfortunately it’s the price we pay in South Africa for these and other bikes TREK , etc etc etc so you guys are still lucky at the price points you getting

Don't worry, the orange buffoon in the current US administration is hard at work making this a reality for europeans too. Apparently it's "better" if we all just buy manufactured goods from our own region.

I noticed that too, but. it. can't. be right... batteries are. around 200wh/kg, so having a difference of only 200g doesn't make any sense.

Anyway, still surprised the new brose motor is still claiming the numbers they already claimed at their first announcement 2 years back, feels like they should have upgraded the motor during all that delay. I am hoping. though specialised has somehow tweaked both he motor and the battery if that's what they are using, just from motor and battery. they would be 0.4(motor) +0.3(800 wh battery) = 700g heavier than DJI/amflow ( I don't even care much about peak power etc.). I mean I know they might still create a better bike, but it definitely feels underwhelming for Specialized to eventually make a new bike released nearly a year later than their rivals and be nearly 1kg heavier(the frame should be heavier, considering how Flexi Amflow seems to be) and underpowered(as I. said I personally don't find it that important... but even. marketing wise it definitely affects possible buyers).... we will see I guess..!
Amflow is not competitor to Specialized. Amflow is chinese bike, Specialized is premium. Closest competitors are Santa Cruz, Pivot, maybe Orbea also. Specialized is not probably using Brose batteries but do their own. Hard to imagine the bulk 800wh Brose battery in Specialized frame.

EMBN mentions some big news due out around 3/7? We can only speculate that it involves Specialized. Meanwhile, the new Ibis OSO carbon is listed at 6K us. That could help set the market for 2025 hopefully.
