I'm sure that the cost is different from country to country, my local LBS here in Denmark said it would be around €1000. I hope that I don't have test it out!

I have just had a new motor fitted under warranty on my 2019 Kenevo and they passed me the box with the old motor in to have a look at the state it was in and in the box was an invoice from Specialized for the new motor for £749 (I assume this is credited when they send the old motor back). So I assume an exchange will be somewhat cheaper.Plus sooner or later either them or someone will start doing factory refurbs hopefully

Everyone who owns a Levo/Kenevo seems to have had a new motor put in at some time or another, I will be shortly on my 3rd in less than 12 months! I love the bike but the reliability of the motor is a big concern. We need to be able to replace or refurb these after the warranty period runs out as these bikes are not cheap to upgrade. Many people including myself will want to keep their bike for a few years, and a £1000 for a new motor is a lot of money. I am also unsure if you can even fit one yourself without connecting it up to the Specialised support software to set it up, maybe someone knows. The warranty does seem pretty good but it needs to be!
