Fitting light to reign 2022

Hello all.
I'm looking at fitting a permanent feed for night lights on my 2022 reign.
I'm fed up of strapping a battery to the bike for night riding so I want to do a feed from the main power supply of the bike.
Has anyone done this before and is it s straight forward job.

There should be a piece of wiring loom tucked up in the space behind the head tube that has two cables in it.
The grey is the negative and the white is +6v.

Ignore any loom with thicker cables with a red wire as from memory this is 36v!

According to Lezyne the output is only 700mA, so you haven't got a great choice.

i know it’s not the same model as yours but it might guide you on what’s possible, I did the mod to my Fathom E+3 29er, it was well worth the effort.

I am using DC/DC on 12v and connected to a Vbat cable
