Etube factory profiles for ep8rs 2023 rise

I had Shimano update my rise to 85nm which went without a hitch. The bike pulls like a train in boost now. From what I can tell it's only the torque they have changed, the power seems to be stock still (150/250/350).

In the process my profiles have been reset and feel very different. Can anyone please share screenshots of the etube app and factory profile settings so I can apply them? Thanks

Is that all they changed? or have you got 'standard' firmware with a power limitation (which may be linked to the battery used) Because Orbea claim that their RS tune alters parameters that you cannot be changed by the user in the app.

I don't know how to check. According to the emax app the power limits are all still in place so it's not a full ep8 configuration.

But yeah my profiles have changed if anyone has a screen shot of them that would be great.

Here you go.
As I'm sure you already know the coloured dots show the position the other modes are in and the white dot shows the default (looks like I've upped the Trail power by one notch on profile 1)

Thank you so much. That's interesting. My app shows 15 settings now instead of 10 for assist character, I'm not sure how to convert or compare.

So it looks like perhaps the 85nm unlock does more than just simply unlocking the torque values. Unless that's an ep8rs vs ep801rs difference.

I’m thinking about having my shop, up mine to 85NM also, when I get the 4.3.0 firmware update. I loaded the update with the app, but it doesn’t include the overrun, etc. I spoke to a representative at Shimano about it and he didn’t have any issue with loading the 85NM firmware. The only thing he said was that I would definitely see a range decrease. I would only be using it occasionally anyway.
Does anyone else, have any input, (good or bad) on doing this?

I bought my 2022 Rise with the torque already increased to 85nm. It was ok but the power really dropped off quickly and necessitated a lot more gear changing than I was used to with the Bosch CX. Recently I used eMax freeware to increase the peak motor power from 350w to 500w (standard ep8 value) and the bike rides much more like the bosch CX (ie. broader powerband).
Range is reduced but I like the full ep8 settings since I always ride in very hilly terrain.

coming back to this I've compared the settings on our 21 Rises to the new 25 Rise. I know shimano updated the eTube app so it now gives a 'basic' mode and a 'fine tune' mode. Fine tune allows you to have up to 15 active modes to switch between (no idea what the shimano display would show for these - just a number?). Not sure if this is only for the 801 or whether its the Orbea firmware that retains the old interface

Anyway - these are the default settings on the two bikes. Everything has been turned up a bit for the 25. I've not ridden the 25 yet but partner is finding the RS+ boost a bit fierce leading to wheelspin rather than grip (which might be more the increase in assist character rather than torque)
