Very strange error. When the bike has been off for a while and I turn it on, the EW-EN100 will blink rapidly and motor won't work.
If I then shut it down and start it up again right after, everything with work like normal.
Very easy to reproduce.
Bike is 3 days old.
The error log says E01030.

Anyone else heard of this? I contacted the dealer, but I'd rather not have to drive 1 hour there and 1 hour back to solve this, if at all possible.

Edit: Just to avoid confusion, this is NOT the same E01003 from the other threads, E01030 is not a typo :)

I had the same issues on an m10 and could never get it to run, constantly got the 2 red blinky lights. Took it to the dealer, and blah blah blah they were going to swap the motor. I had a chat with the shop owner and he swapped it with a new mTeam (for aggrivation and frustration...lucky me!) and had the same issues, but continued to cycle it on and off until it would stay lit. Just for kicks, I decided to rotate the cranks 3x backwards before starting it up. Presto! No more error! No idea what it is, but I told the LBS and I'm going to give it to them to fix during the off season. Hope it works for you.

Thanks! Good info!

It's at the LBS (60 minutes away so strike the L) and I hope they can fix it. If they keep faffing about I will ask them to try it. It's just really annoying because the bike is 4 days old and I just finished my build with other fork, other brakes, other stem, other dropper, other lever, other bar and so on so lots of work went into it and I just want to ride. Would have gotten the M10 or team if only they were available without 500KM from where I live.

I feel your pain. The place I got mine is 2 hours away...which is why I fiddled with it so much. Sometimes it took 10-15 button pushes for it to work! Anyhoo, good luck.

Will do. What has happened until now is that I made a video on how to reproduce the finding, took some screenshots of the log all my findings and compiled it in to a mail that was sent to Shimano through the dealer. Shimano haven't gotten back to the dealer, but I was told that they have retrieved the log from the bike and are looking at it. I hope to hear back from them tomorrow.

Ok, all ended well. I got a new motor and everything is fine now.
