@Amflow_Support is there a quick fix here or do I need to make the 4 hour round trip back to where I purchased this from? Of course I have already tried to turn the bike off and on but the issue persists...
What happened to the motor error buddy ?DELETED
And try a real lightweight ebike (I.e 18kg or less) this makes an even greater differenceNot really I think the XL is spot on except the shallow seat post insertion. If I could drop it 10mm it'd be spot on. Damn stumpy legs.
I regretted the S5 in the levo and actually wished I downsized but I was coming from a large norco sight vlt at the time which was a little small but had accustomed to a smaller bike.
Measuring centre of seat to top cap the S5 levo is identical to the amflow XL so the feeling of it being smaller must be in the other measurements. I didn't think the the small saving in Kgs would make a huge differnce but it makes the bike feel so much nicer to ride.
Thought you would get more than that ? . Levo battery 700 I would get 45 miles and 1000m climbing. I'm 15 and a half stone.Did a back-to-back comparison yesterday with my son on the Focus Jam2 (with a brand new main battery), over 25 miles, only 330m vert, 99% of the ride was in Eco on both bikes.
Drained the 378Wh Focus to within 2 miles available range and the Amflow was at 44%. Given that I weigh about 12kg more than my son, and I probably used a bit more boost than him, I'd say efficiency was on a par with the Shimano system but neither noticeably better nor worse.
Did notice that the carbon bars are hard on the hands. Otherwise, still a superb bike and very happy with the purchase despite the eye-popping price of entry.

Note that the motor of the year comment possibly refers to the article being "ebike of the year" and not "motor of the year". I don't think he was saying there is a better motor out there.Interesting to note Brian Park's (Pinkbike bossman) comment, in reference to the DJI motor,
"The motor is insane, and I cannot wait for it to get launched in a few new bikes in 2025... but it's not "motor of the year."
I managed over 40 miles and 2000m on the amflow over two days in wales. I’m 74kg and pretty fit and would definitely agree that weight and fitness play a massive part in any emtb range comparison.Thought you would get more than that ? . Levo battery 700 I would get 45 miles and 1000m climbing. I'm 15 and a half stone.
For reference, my lightweight rise build is at 17.2kg , on the std 360 battery i managed 59 miles and 1300m, but it’s very easy to pedal with it switched off, a lot of the non climbing was spend with the motor off.And try a real lightweight ebike (I.e 18kg or less) this makes an even greater difference
Tbh they could do, I thought I was going to charge mine overnight in wales so I went a bit boost crazy on day one…when no charging was available I had to spend day two in eco.I expected these Amflow's with 800 battery to be doing about 60 miles and 2000m climbing with my weight 94 kg . Based on me getting 43 miles ish and 5000ft climbing on a 700 battery at present.
I'm just going by media advertising. My pal just got one 3 weeks ago. It's not the best time of year in UK to test Amflow on eco for max mileage . Enjoy it lovely bike.Tbh they could do, I thought I was going to charge mine overnight in wales so I went a bit boost crazy on day one…when no charging was available I had to spend day two in eco.

I know. My point is the motor will be launched in more than need bike. Confirms, at least, the Forbidden rumours.Note that the motor of the year comment possibly refers to the article being "ebike of the year" and not "motor of the year". Forbidden will be releasing their bike with the Avinox motor in the spring. I’ve seen some pics of it already, it’s basically the dreadnought with a motor.Any ideas or rumours of when they might release a more aggressive longer travel model?

Brian Park just means that the category they are awarding for is not 'Motor of the Year'. It's E-bike of the year, and the Amflow is not the e-bike of the year even though he tacitly acknowledges that the DJI is the superior motor.
On this is it expected to be a new motor or software updates to the Smart system? .PS. It's worth noting that Bosch will be announcing 105 NM full time power at Sea Otter 2025, or sooner. So, the Bosch will be comparable in power around when the new waves of e-bikes are released.
I think DJI are exactly doing this - I'd be surprised if you could still buy an Amflow in 2 years. The way forward for DJI is to ditch their competing bike and just pursue motor sales.

Unfortunately it will be specd with the desaster 600 Wh battery.. So it is out of the GameForbidden will be releasing their bike with the Avinox motor in the spring. I’ve seen some pics of it already, it’s basically the dreadnought with a motor.
Strange their is not a choice from them. Put me off anyway.Unfortunately it will be specd with the desaster 600 Wh battery.. So it is out of the Game
