I'm doing a Dengfu E10 build with e frame I bought from Greenbikekit. As I expected, the frame seems of excellent quality and finish. But the headset they gave me with the frame surprised me - the cups that hold the sealed bearings that get pressed into the frame are plastic. Is anyone else running these, and how have you found them? That bottom race cup holds the entire weight of the bike and more when the forks are compressed...
Trawling the interwebs brought up one example of one breaking (it was a top cup, strangely) but I can find no other mention of them - seems either they work fine or people just bin them without saying anything?
