Hi,

Dengfu sent me a new battery for the new bike build but no charger (usually they come with them but my build is for a video!)

Any idea which charger is compatible or one that I can purchase?

thanks
Rob

Any 48v charger that has this type 5.5 /2.1mm plug will work. There are no special communications to consider.

Personally I use a Grin Satiator charger that will charge up to 8A.

While we’re talking battery chargers…

I assume it would be unwise to use my existing fancy Luna 52V Advanced Charger (man I love that charger for my BBSHD bike) on the 48V Bafang/Dengfu battery when it arrives with the E10?

If you had a 52v battery it would work just fine:giggle:

Question is will the M500/600's run on 52v? Sure wakes up the G510....not that it really needs it:devilish: But the E10 and E22 frames use the same battery case.

The M600 works fine without any mods, even a fully charged battery at 58.4volts does’nt seem to give ERR codes. I quite like running mine on the higher voltage as it brings the top cadence up a bit.

The downside is you cannot get minimum support to enable riding with analogue riders.
