Throwing this out to see what ideas people have. I have a 2020 Rail 9.7 with about 500 miles on it. Within the last 100 miles I've noticed a very significant creek coming from the motor area. I've narrowed it down to when I putting force into the left crank when assist is on (in all modes including eco). If I turn off assist, no creak. I've already removed and greased the crank, checked the motor mount bolts for correct torque, removed the skid plate to see it that was the cause (btw there are several rub points between the motor and skid plate).
The fact that it only creaks when assist is activated makes me think it's internal to the motor. My next step is to take it to the dealer, but I thought I'd ask for ideas.
Thanks
