yes thats the deal with focus and this dissapoints me a bit. 375 wh is not enough and I dont like range extenders. Otherwise it will definitely be a great bike!

Wow have you ever seen worse welding? Absolutely horrible. Looks like a welding class 101 first project. Look at that lower shock mount!

Thought this chat was about Commencal bikes ??
I appreciate the links and references to other bikes with the new EP8 motors, considering that is one of the bigger selling points of the new Commencal. At least for me.

And it's not like there is much other news out there on this bike right now.

Anyone catch any picture of Cedric Ravanal racing the new bike at the E-EWS in Zermatt? Can’t tell if this is the new bike or not that Cecile is on in this pic.

Not 100% sure but it looks like a Lyric on the front so it appears to be the 2020 SX Signature. If it was a 2021 I would have thought that the Commencal team would be running a ZEB or Fox38 if it was.

local dealer says the launch has been delayed.. I am hoping that Shimano has implemented something similar to the Bosch E MTB mode
I likes that on the rail I demo'd but it needed to be dialled back some...so the big selling point for me not going Bosch is tunability. I dont want more speed so I dont want to hack the software, but I do love how the Levo Brose setup allows you to customise

exactly what i expected now with the prices when the new bikes arrived , soon now one gonna have the money to buy a e-bike, maybe they want some extra cash to survive the corona economic crisis.

Yup, although the 29er looks quite good apart from the price. Sat here with the credit card so will see if the propain goes live today. It was gonna be a toss up between that or the commencal.

Same here :) Thought I should order today and like the spec on the Meta Power 29 Team but not the price. . .

I agree the 29 spec is nice, 29 just isn't for me though

I have been on the fence for the ekano, only because there isnt any in Australia as of yet. But when I'm going to be spending this kind of money i don't wanna have to change the build on a brand new bike!

Same feeling yes. The cheaper SX feel like it's got downgrade in component, yet at the same price than the 2020. Same for the Race
As for the 2 29er, it's way too expensive for aluminium bikes!

Have you see the geometry? Very aggressive: 63HA for the SX, 63.5 for the 29er!
And no Mullet.
Maybe they will release more models later?

I hope the Ekano won't get that big inflation.
