Broke the crank arms on my 2019 Levo HT - easy to replace?

Fifth ride out on my new bike today and one of the pedals fell off! The thread was stripped off the crank arm, and the other one was much the same. I’m assuming that this is because they weren’t tightened up enough (the correct pedal was on the correct side!)

Are these easy to replace like on a non-ebike? Is there an advantage to buying different ones rather than the standard items? Advice appreciated!

I decided to replace with the slightly shorter version of the original arms to get me up and running quickly, but the problem is they aren’t exactly the same as the original.

They go on fine, but there is no dust cap like on the originals. Does this matter? Does it increase the likelihood of anything getting into the motor or anywhere else important?
