Hmm, not sure I've got this right but Im saying it in jest. They fail a lot but are cheap as chips to replace. 10p bolt securing a £600+ battery, works like a fuse but in reverse?..... failure would be common or expensive.
I have yet to have a bike without a battery key so I am not talking from a place of knowledge. Yes I'm obviously talking through that alternative orifice.
