Any updates with this m630 or even the current state of the m560? I've seen m560 still sold but only as 500w model and with a warning that it is loud.

Is the m560 500w usable at it's current state?

I think I read somewhere that the m560 750w is supposed to be relaunched early this year?

Hello.
No news about M630.

M560 is also with 750W firmware. I guess 1000W is now dismissed. What I have spot, they did split these motors to US version(750W) and non US (according the boot codes). But is possible to flash any firmware after some bin file manipulation.

And you right, seems like it is still that first beta firmware, which is not OK.

Is that the one that had the over heating problems?

Yes. 1000W definitelly.

Lets see how 750W would stand 1200W peak (anyway this can be a sweetspot for normal ebikes). I guess they now redesigning controller for m560. As till now they just used M510 fc2.0 controller. But it could be the same only more powerful Fets.

Ah alright. Thanks for the info. Been looking to build my diy bike. Don't know if there is any other good option for mid drive motor than the m560. Guess I'll have to wait and see what the new m560 is like after they relaunch it.

M620 feels too heavy and m820 has no power or throttle option.

That is right, lets wait some months for M560. Till then you can put some older used M600 into your build.

Yes, thats unlucky bafang disabled throttle on M820, I was surprised about this. I am seeing where it all goes with Bafangs: No throttle and hardcoded speed. But there is still option to fake speed sensor. :)) Till they come up with CAN speed sensors with digital signature...

Yeah I guess m600 could be an option. Could be risky to get a frame for m600 now that m560 future is uncertain.

Currently I'm hoping and waiting for Dengfu to release more info about the E82 and the size L 19". Currently only M 17" available. I made a post earlier about that frame incase you haven't seen the frame yet. Dengfu said to be opening EU warehouse this year so that would be a plus for me as well.

Was planning to build the E82 frame with m560 but now I'm not sure how to feel about the frame or the motor. Might have to start looking for other motors than bafang.

Currently I enjoy my bbs02b 750w but would like to build a bike with modern geo etc and not use a 10-15 year old frame that can fit bbs02b/HD. I really enjoy to ride tons enduro style in the forest etc so the motor has been really good for that.

Yep, also looking for that frame. ;) You wont spoil anything with this frame and till you get the frame I hope also M560 will be here.

Not much changes though. I see BMS button is gone, no holes for cables (I would rather go with holes). Bigger battery. Yes, 170mm rear travel. That rear triangle seems the same, so it is about +5mm on shock, hope they can measure 170mm. ;)

Agreed. Yeah headset cable routing.. I guess you can drill cable holes if you want. Yes, I'm bit worried about the rear shock lenght as well. I was planning to use zeb fork. Heard alot of good about those forks.

I like the M560 500W. The weight is like the M510, but it rides more cheerfully. 750W is certainly better, but 500W is also good

Have you thought about lightcarbon LCE971 frame? Link to that frame.

@LAnton your thoughts about m600 vs m560? Which one would you get?

Really? Just to save the 600g? Or do they have other differences? Other than m560 being loud.
Much more differences and updates: rotor, stator - thicker copper wires, gearing, clutch, more sealing for anti-water. And the most important - new controller and much better torque sensor - sensitivity.
I hope they would go with nylon gear for 500W version. Then just to flash 750W firmware. ;)

Ooh  I had no clue.

You missed my earlier message? Thoughts about that LCE971 frame? 😁

600 grams of savings on the engine. I don't remember how much the Dengfu E10 weighs and I don't like that weight. I'm currently driving an E49 that weighs 3000g. This frame has a stroke of 150. But I am now installing a spring shock absorber and the frame stroke will be 165mm. I used to have two bikes with the M600 and both were very noisy. Apparently these were the first versions with metal gears. When I drive fast over rocks and dirt roads, I don't hear the engine noise. The noise of the engine is very clearly audible at home when you lie on the couch :)

this video reminds me not to choose M560 due to its horrible noise. Not worthy to save that 600g

Also it's not only the 600g, I didn't know this earlier either.

sure. PLease send me the link.

I mean it's the easiest thing ever to use the search function or even google it but here you go 😁 Bafang M560

The video linked in the threat for the facebook group is most recent I have seen anyone posting.

@Neeko DeVinchi Any update on this, is the 1500w still a thing or when will we get some content on the m630?
Sincere apologies @Bengy22. I've seen your message on the channel and on the High Voltage discord group.
Soon. Very soon. I've just finished a build which took longer than anticipated. But I can now turn my attention to the M630👍🏿

Hi People, I am new to this forum; so please excuse me for jumping right in with a question.

This is aimed at Neeko, but I am happy to hear from anyone else who thinks they may be able to help.

I have a carbon frame fitted with M620. If I remember rightly, it's an E22; I bought it from Carbon Cycle off eBay a couple of years ago. I think the battery is 48v/17.5ah/840wh/Samsung 35E cells.

Can anyone tell me when the M630 is expected to be available; and would it straight swap into my frame.

Hi @Fencer
The M630 shares the same mounting position as the M620.

However, the M630 is CANBUS ONLY. Meaning that if you're using uart, the entire system will need to be swapped (display, wire harness etc).

Currently, I haven't seen too many M630 ebikes using conventional derailleurs, chains and cassettes. Moreso, using the new hub.

Kindly bear with me as I have received numerous enquiries about the compatibility of the M630 system with M620 frames. I will share what I learn soon👍🏿

Thank you very much for this Neeko; very kind of you.

My M620 is CAN protocol, so no problem there.

What I really need to know, is where I can purchase the M630 [and/or hub]?

And yes any other information you learn will be greatly appreciated; also very kind of you.

for your request, you can get it in Facebook group named "BAFANG eBike". Not sure if it's a good timing to take it as BAFANG's new arrivals always comes with some minor issues.

This thread hasn't seen much activity sadly, I found this video showcasing the 1000w m630 vs the m620 in hand. Sadly though no 1500w model and it was labeled 48v, was really hoping we would see the jump to 60v (and considering bafang made firmware and hardware support for it on the m620 this seems like a no brainer). I also hope this means @Neeko DeVinchi might finally be able to start sharing more with us
