is the peak gear from m600 ok to use on m510? i never heard any one do this.
did they fixed the gear problem?

The M510 has a peek gear already (see photo). Not sure if it is the same as in the M600 though?

That's a picture of my M510 stripped and the gear is a peek (plastic) gear. The gear does look very similar to the M600 one but can't be sure they're the same without next time having them side by side for comparison.

M500,M510 and M600 are now using only Nylon gear from fabric. Not plastic.
And yes, there is small difference in gearing between M500 and M600 (can be found on endless) now not sure if only on primary gear or on both.

how to recognize between nylon and plastic gear? i got a spare gears for the M500, they are just 'white', but i don't know they are plastic or nylon

Plastic is not used, wont hold even single start.

Most likely PEEK (polyether ether ketone), nylon is yesterdays plastic in gear terms.
