BAFANG M500 AND M600 CRANK COLOUR/COLOR

Hey peeps

As users of the Bafang M500 and M600 would know, pedal strike is common with those long cranks, so paint removal is an inevitable result.

I don't like the shiny silver metal showing up after the strikes and want to give them a touch up, so what black do you think the cranks are:

matt black
satin black
flat black
gloss black [I think not]

Hahaaa, no prank! I‘m also looking for some of those crank boots, I‘ll share my experience once I tried some!

May be it would be beneficial to rework the crank to a more round shape at the end. This would shorten the crank by couple of mm, and it would be much easier to find a pair of crank boots that fit to the shape of the crank...

I need to file it a bit anyway due to some ragged edges from rock strikes, so might do that at the same time [after I get some boots].

Still wouldn't mind knowing the type of black to paint with too.

Someone know where I can buy shorter arms for m500/m600 cranks ? I search 160 or 165mm...
