Bafang M400

Hi guys, does anyone tested if M400 motor with UART bus can be modified with Bafang config tool? The same one used for modifying BBS engines. thanks.

Yes. Me; since years.
I do have a 250W and 350W controller for my M400 UART motor.

At the 350W Controller I can give 20Ampere at 36Volt. In the woods it makes fun!
You can change every assist level.
If you want, give 100% power at level 3 and 50% power at level 4; makes no sense, but possible
I changes the SpeedLimit, too.

The M400 UART works with the EggRider Display, too.

A heavy, but good motor. Bought a 2 second one spare. And 2 second 350Watt controller (last month)

Hi, sorry for the late answer. Of course it works! I was able to change the speed limit for one customer by bypassing the display speed command setting. It still shows 25 km/h limit on HMI but in reality it supports up to 40 km/h, which is pretty awesome. Display was not supported by Besst - i was unable to read it. You can change many parameters similar like with BBS02B/HD motors. Cheers.
