My SRAM gx eagle transmission connected to Mastermind shows 100% charged all the time even when I disconnect the battery.
The gears is showing correctly.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

You would have to move away from the bike to really see, it seems to me that the transmission is done wirelessly, right ?

So in my opinion if you stay next to the bike there will be nothing visible

Yes it's wireless but how can I move away from the bike to see when I ride and look at the mastermind 😂

The battery is in your hand, it shouldn't even be reading the percentage left

For what it is worth, my Garmin watch does the same when reading the battery level. I don't think it is implemented very well, I suspect it will got from 100% to 0% or very close with nothing in between

Maybe I didn't explain the problem properly and you are right it should show 0%.
On the Mastermind display the battery shows 100% when fully charged, after riding a couple of days and when I remove it. AXS app is paired with the new black Specialized app so everything else is working including which gear I am in.
As seen on the screenshot the motor battery drain is working and correct.
Maybe it's a bug in the new spech app?

Like I said, it shows the exact same on my Garmin Watch - as in the AXS battery doesnt change from 100% even when I know it is at at less than that

Must be a bug in how it communicates it charge to third party apps, as it works fine within the AXS app

Yes you are right it work fine in the AXS app which also had a updated last week so the battery drain should be easier to see on both AXS dropper and gear.

So the Bluetooth connection is between the axs mech and its changer....and the mech must be active for the axs app to read battery drain . For Mastermind to have the ability to read that info surely its has to be paired to the Axs mech? The only other way I can see it working is if the Axs app is linked to Mission Control and MC is running on your phone . The axs app would also need to be running on the phone.....or it would not be able to gather that data.

I'm pretty sure every pairing/connection is done correctly since I can see gear change on MM display when riding and when I stop and remove the battery MM display shows --- instead of which gear I am in.
Anyway I now got a support ticket at SRAM so hopefully the problem will be solved.

I have a similar setup on my Mondraker Dusty Gravel. My Garmin shows Axs battery for shifters, RD and dropper. It’s buggy, connects, disconnects and reconnects loads of times during a ride. The Garmin does show the battery info dropping in stages and alarms when low, but when disconnected it shows the last value reported. I suspect this is what you are seeing here.
