Custom Large M-TEAM (160/160) 42.9 lbs with pedals.

- Manitou Mezzer Pro fork
- Manitou Mara Pro shock with (1) offset bushing
- Canfield Crampon Ultimate pedals
- Assegai exo+ up front
- Dissector exo out back (stock front tire)
- Tubeless
- Rimpact pro front and rear
- 203mm Galfer rotor up front
- Odi Rouge grips
- Tinkerbell

I'm 195lbs, ride heavy and hard, broke/beat up quite a few parts early on. Not really sure how you drop 5lbs unless you are a much lighter rider or only ride old school XC trails. 160/160 feels better for me personally, but I also enjoyed the stock 140/150 configuration (I just don't get along with Fox shocks). Tire upgrade and a rear insert is a must IMO, front insert was added because I bent both wheels within 5 rides with stock tires and no inserts.

Remember that most quoted bike weights are without pedals. So they *can* be accurate, they're just leaving a huge chunk of weight out. For the M-LTD in particular some other cheats:
  • It has lame foam grips
  • The front Rekon is absurdly light (780g) for a 2.6" tire; but it's a terrible front tire (although ironically the rear Rekon is absurdly heavy for a 2.4" at 880g)
  • 125mm dropper in all sizes
My large 2021 M-LTD was ~38.54 lbs stock w/ pedals. I got it down to 37.3 lbs upgraded with Roval Control SL wheels and a KS LEV CI dropper, also carrying a tool kit in the head tube. So you're look at ~36.5 with no pedals.

My wife's small 2022 H30 was 45.71 lbs stock with no pedals. It's down to 44.88 with pedals after a few upgrades (slightly lighter wheels - the stock wheels are 2250g, lighter rotors (stock rotors shouldn't be on a mountain bike), and Shimano cranks).

And an utterly stupid and unusable saddle that is there simply to reduce the weights for the spec sheet.

XL 2023 Rise H10, 48 lbs with Supertrail Schwalbe tires F & R and pedals
S 2023 M20 with big battery, 43 lbs, stock with pedals
I've really enjoyed mine (XL H10) but I'll admit to being a bit surprised at the weights on each bike. Hoping a lot of it is in the wheels which I plan to swap out. That, and perhaps I need a better scale.

The lightest ebikes are the last gen Levo SL, real world sub 38#s.
The updated new version would be next in line and should be sub 41# for real geo and a 36mm fork). Also if she is petite, it has a mullet wheel configuration which is nice.
The new Mondraker NEAT should be very light also.
