It is the costum carbon raw
Looking at the website photo of that paint scheme (not ideal I know) it looks really good so my question to Orbea would be is the photo on the website an adequate representation of what you've received?

Looks gloss and the logo looks chrome, whereas it's all matte on the first coupleof photos.

Just received my custom painted Wild and happy to report absolutely no paint issues at all. Had all the components removed to make it easier to RideWrap and am able to see the frame/paint quality in its entirety. Went with white gloss on the main frame and silver on the bottom and it looks absolutely stunning! Not sure if there are more quality issues with non-custom color frames? LBS where I purchased bike from had another custom painted Wild on a work stand while assembling and it had no quality issues as well. They also had 6 other Wilds in stock for sale (mix of aluminum & carbon) and they seemed to be fine. Was actually impressed with the flat finish aluminum bikes. Will post pics after getting wrapped and custom components (SRAM XX Transmission Drivetrain, Shirgura Brakes, MRP Hazard Coil Shock, SRAM AXS Dropper, SQLAB Carbon Bars, Nukeproof Horizon Stem, REV Grips and Schwalbe Eddy Current tires) installed. Hopefully Orbea understands the ramifications of letting poor workmanship get through and more importantly, are addressing customers who have received substandard bikes.

This is how my cosmic carbon looks. I have no idea how they get the colour in, but i understand that Orbea use "unidirectional carbon" which is why the raw carbon can look shit. i assume that "cosmic carbon" means that the unidirectional carbon technique they use has the colours woven in and the frame isn't painted in the usual way. But i have no idea if that's right. At first i thought i was a crap invisiframe install, but spoke to a specialist who said it's down to the carbon.

That’s what mine looks like. I was told cosmic carbon shipping was on time and painted frames were 3 months back ordered. Anyone have any luck getting their frame switched with warranty ?

My cosmic carbon looks like the video. Having said that my clear metallic fleck coat is smooth and done really well. Depending on the direction I am looking from, the carbon underneath can either be seen and cloudy or totally clear from the opposite direction. I actually like it though. Nobody that has seen the bike has noticed the carbon showing through but me.

I think that Orbea should probably stop offering clear view carbon options. I would imagine more people are going to be unhappy with the inconsistency of that look than happy.

If my finish coat was messed up I would absolutely try to warranty it. I hope everyone is able to get sorted out.

TBF, i am getting used to it. And i have no problem with the paint quality or invisiframe that has been wrapped around it. I think it's just the carbon underneath doesn't look brilliant. I will be interested to see the red carbon.

Got my Cosmic carbon a few days ago, whilst messing with the dropper and shining a torch down the seat tube it caught the light and I spotted this. I mean you can't normally see it and the clear coat over the top is smooth, but it's like they forgot to put the mystery port in and then cut it out with a blunt Stanley knife afterwards. Blindfolded. It doesn't exactly scream of quality, does it?
Anyone else's like this?

Just had a look it the sunlight and whilst not as bad as with a torch it's still visible and pretty shoddy. Also spotted the surround to the System controller isn't much better! The shop have said I can swap it for a silver one if it hasn't been registered with Bosch or Orbea but I have already done both. Also want over £100 to pdi another bike. Not sure how this is going to play out at the moment

Seen a few raw carbon frames that have clear coated finish you cad clearly see the facets /layup of the carbon underneath even with a thick clear coat the white one is really bad very poor finish before paint piss poor masking and damage during build.
Will be thoroughly inspecting my h10 when it arrives on Thursday. The 21 h25 I had was perfect and the wilds and other oreba bikes at my local shop have a excellent finish

Well just ordered my 2024 Wild M11 AXS with pretty much all of the upgrades. I didn’t feel like waiting until June for a MyO so I ordered a Cosmic Carbon that was ready to be shipped this week from Orbea to a local shop. I was examining the stock photos on the website and tbh it looks like even the stock photos show the imperfections that others have posted in this thread. I’m throwing a full Ridewrap gloss wrap on it so I probably won’t care either way but I’ll post pics of it when it arrives hopefully by months end.
