I was gonna say - I looked at a bare Carbon Rise last year and it looked as janky as any other bare carbon bike.I’m sure their “catalog “ bikes are going to be flawless

It is 12k+WOW
Looks like it's been sanded by a 4 year old with a brillo pad and when is it due to be painted or lacquered?
Jokes aside that is an 8k+ bike and that finish in my opinion is poor, it's a no from me.
It is the costum carbon raw@FFM out of interest what is the colour scheme on that? It's a custom right?
Looking at the website photo of that paint scheme (not ideal I know) it looks really good so my question to Orbea would be is the photo on the website an adequate representation of what you've received? It is the costum carbon raw

Good to hear! Look forward to the pics mate.Just received my custom painted Wild and happy to report absolutely no paint issues at all. Had all the components removed to make it easier to RideWrap and am able to see the frame/paint quality in its entirety. Went with white gloss on the main frame and silver on the bottom and it looks absolutely stunning! Not sure if there are more quality issues with non-custom color frames? LBS where I purchased bike from had another custom painted Wild on a work stand while assembling and it had no quality issues as well. They also had 6 other Wilds in stock for sale (mix of aluminum & carbon) and they seemed to be fine. Was actually impressed with the flat finish aluminum bikes. Will post pics after getting wrapped and custom components (SRAM XX Transmission Drivetrain, Shirgura Brakes, MRP Hazard Coil Shock, SRAM AXS Dropper, SQLAB Carbon Bars, Nukeproof Horizon Stem, REV Grips and Schwalbe Eddy Current tires) installed. Hopefully Orbea understands the ramifications of letting poor workmanship get through and more importantly, are addressing customers who have received substandard bikes.
It is sad that you have to worry about the finish of a paint job especially the years they've been turning bikes outGood to hear! Look forward to the pics mate.
Yes, looks not so good. I returned mine twice due to quality issues. This is how my cosmic carbon looks. I have no idea how they get the colour in, but i understand that Orbea use "unidirectional carbon" which is why the raw carbon can look shit. i assume that "cosmic carbon" means that the unidirectional carbon technique they use has the colours woven in and the frame isn't painted in the usual way. But i have no idea if that's right. At first i thought i was a crap invisiframe install, but spoke to a specialist who said it's down to the carbon.

I will receive a wine red Carbon view Matt finishing next week, a rise m team, I am very curious to see the color for the first time … will post some picturesMy cosmic carbon looks like the video. Having said that my clear metallic fleck coat is smooth and done really well. Depending on the direction I am looking from, the carbon underneath can either be seen and cloudy or totally clear from the opposite direction. I actually like it though. Nobody that has seen the bike has noticed the carbon showing through but me.
I think that Orbea should probably stop offering clear view carbon options. I would imagine more people are going to be unhappy with the inconsistency of that look than happy.
If my finish coat was messed up I would absolutely try to warranty it. I hope everyone is able to get sorted out.
It would probably void the frame warrantyI wonder how hard it would be to have a custom paint shop repaint the frame?
Absolute horrible. One bike more of missing QCGot my Cosmic carbon a few days ago, whilst messing with the dropper and shining a torch down the seat tube it caught the light and I spotted this. I mean you can't normally see it and the clear coat over the top is smooth, but it's like they forgot to put the mystery port in and then cut it out with a blunt Stanley knife afterwards. Blindfolded. It doesn't exactly scream of quality, does it?
Anyone else's like this?
